Location is perfect. Central but away from evening noise. Hotel is magnificent. So clean and modern with classic architectural preserved elements. Staff are attentive, polite, professional and friendly. The food in the restaurant is of high quality. The beds are so comfy, perfect water pressure in the shower with rainfall shower head. Good amenities in the room. Highly recommend this hotel. I would stay here again

This is, without a doubt, the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The building is a former bank and is so beautifully restored it takes your breath away! The lobby and bar are open and grand yet still manage to be intimate and friendly. I highly recommend enjoying cocktails in the vault bar, which is open Monday-Saturday evenings. The rooms are immaculately clean and beautifully presented. In my opinion though, the thing that makes this hotel truly outstanding is the staff, particularly the concierge and bar staff. They are helping, attentive, knowledge and were definitely very forgiving of 4 old gits who had never been to Romania before and didn't have a clue what to do or where to go. We can't wait to visit again.

The Hotel is amazing, the staff are brilliant and attentive to all needs from opening doors from Taxi’s to carrying luggage and shopping to taking bespoke arrangements for my wifes 40th bday, highly recommend the hotel for all types of stay, will definitely re visit very soon

The hotel came highly recommended. Unfortunately, it was just ok. The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. It was very noisy at night, because it is located in The Old town and there are many bats and restaurants around and they close around 2 am. The hotel is an old bank and it’s a beautiful building!

Beautiful stylish hotel. Situated right in the middle of everything. Walkable to touriat areas. Lots of places to eat, shop or get a drink within eaay reach. Yet, surprisingly quiet on a night inside the hotel. And got a good nights sleep every night. The staff here are excellent. We did have an issue , nothing to do with the hotel. But they really went above and beyond to help out at front desk. The Vault bar is also worth a mention. Has to be explored at least once. Wonderfully quirky and very well finished off. I have already recommended this hotel to friend's. And would not hesitate to return myself. Can not think of anything negative to say about the place

Booked a “standard room” and received one that was essentially an internal room. The only windows were two small skylights high up in the ceiling. The hotel would probably say these mean it’s not internal but to all intents and purposes it is and should be labelled as such. Given this you had to have the aircon on all night - and the light from the aircon control unit is so bright it very much disturbs your sleep. Managed about 2hrs very broken sleep. On the plus side the room was very clean, modern and quiet, the shower was very good and it’s a great location.

absolute highlight of this Hotel is the truly spectacular architecture. It was once a private bank. Not sure of the exact vintage but late 19th century art nouveau. One of the most impressive and beautiful buildings I’ve ever stayed in. The incredible bronze safe in the lobby is worth the price of admission alone. Location is perfect. A minute’s walk from the old town. I can’t remember much about my room but I’m sure it was nice!

Amazing building, interior and decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location couldn't be more convenient, in the old city and minutes walking distance from all the areas we wanted to go. Will absolutely return next time in Bucharest.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Check-in was slow and took about 25 minutes, as our room was not ready when we arrived. Unfortunately, the extra bed included in our reservation was not provided, and although we had three guests, only a limited number of towels were supplied. The wellness facilities were generally good — the gym, swimming pool, and sauna were enjoyable — but the steam room had a noticeable unpleasant smell, and there was a faint bad odor in the pool area as well. Parking was tricky and definitely a challenge. We were lucky to find a spot in front of the hotel, but this seems to be more the exception than the rule. I would recommend this hotel more strongly to those not traveling with a car. On a positive note, the surrounding area is beautiful, and the hotel itself has potential if some of these issues are addressed

For a 5 star hotel the rooms are very small. The carpet in the room has stains on it and it does not feel like a 5 star hotel. When you walk into the hotel the check in desk doesn’t even greet you and nobody offers to help you with your luggage. The bar is very nice and has good service. Overall this hotel is in a good location and in a cool building but not worth the price they charge.
