Good location

Room was clean and beds are fairly comfortable. Location was good as it is only 40 minutes into the park. We only stayed 1 night so was not able to enjoy the pool or eat at the restaurant. The main complaint is the shower turns cold and hot and cannot maintain the temperature while showering. The bed linens look like they got scratched by a cat and needs to be replaced, the AC is too cold when turned on, but will be too hot if turned down. Otherwise it is a comfortable place to rest your head after days of hiking

The staff was exceedingly polite, pleasant and engaging. We had a power outage that was potentially quite stressful, however the staff rose to the occasion and maintained a calm air of “apologies” (tho not at all ‘their’ fault), and did their best help the guests in any way that were able. Grace under pressure.

This property is very near one of the entrances to Yosemite National Park. The setting for this hotel is very picturesque. Due to its location, it is easy to arrive at the Yosemite entrance early in the morning and avoid the long line to enter the Park.

Stayed in Cedar lodge for 4 nights a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teens. I selected this property for its location to Yosemite and availability of Yarts buses , in case the park will be too crowded . Also nice to have 2 restaurant's and a store on premises. The food options are practically non existent in this area of the park. Although the food wasn’t good at Cedar lodge, and they are very understaffed, we went to their sister hotel up the road for a much better experience! The room was clean and specious tho very dated. The walls had peeling off , room felt stuffy. Air conditioner was acting up it beds were comfortable w plenty of pillows and blankets. The bathtub had peelings and didn’t drain well. I requested to come fix it and they did , so thank you for the prompt response! Wi-Fi - was terrible and practically non existent.. only 2 ppl per room allowed on .. Had fridge and microwave which was super helpful, we bought breakfast at the convenience store and ate that , otherwise it’s 22pp at the restaurant for continental breakfast.. free coffee and hot water in the lobby , pool, river beach , jacuzzi and play room .. big plus Overall served our purpose, although for the prices they charge , you would expect more.. but we were there for the amazing Yosemite, and that worked for us

Nothing in surrounding area for 30 miles except a gas station, restaurant, bar and grill adjacent or at hotel up the road, so stop in Mariposa on your way in. Hotel is in valley so NO cell or wifi service even though they advertise free wifi, there is none. Room was nice comfortable and clean but room coffee was lousy and no place to get coffee until 7 am. Lobby charges $3.50 for a cup. Nice big rear upper level deck at 600 building. Convenient to park.

The property faces the Merced River, this in itself is so beautiful and peaceful. The area around the property has multiple sitting areas with swings and pretty sitting sections. Multiple pools and gaming rooms as well. The room was big enough, the bedding could have been upgraded for sure, they were worn out but I would today stay again as the river facing location is worth it. The restaurant doesn't have many menu options and breakfast isn't included but overall enjoyed our stay, would recommend!
