o For remote work or staying connected, the excellent cell phone service and high-speed internet/WIFI throughout the house are essential.

Pet Policy:
o While you both love all pets, please that the safety of our goats takes priority and we unfortunately cannot accommodate guest pets. Given previous issues, please note there is a $750 non-refundable fee for bringing pets onto the property.

Seasonal Considerations:
o The Burnsville area is stunning year-round. In winter (Nov-April), the fully paved neighborhood road makes access easier. Keep in mind that the North-facing driveway may receive less sun, so all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended during snowy or icy conditions.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony or patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. A flat-screen television with Netflix is provided, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. The bathroom with a shower/tub combination features a jetted bathtub and a hair dryer.

You HAVE to stay here!
We have our annual family mountain cabin get away and this stay by far is the BEST one yet!! The pictures are just as beautiful as the place is! It is super clean, and we were welcomed with almost 4” of snow our first night! What a treat for our grandkids! Josh was the perfect host who responded very fast with any question we had. Please do your family and favor and book a trip to this cabin!

Wheelchair Accessible if you have ramps
Our group of 6 women travelled from a pregnancy and parenting resource center, Life Choices, in Roxboro, NC, to bring items needed, a time of respite, good food, fun, and fellowship to our sister center, MY Life Center there in Burnsville. The main level bedroom and bathroom were large enough to fit in my wheelchair. Just needed my ramps to get up the 3 steps.

Great property with a great location. I can not say enough wonderful things about this property. I have stayed at numerous rentals and this one was our favorite, of course the goats were a nice added bonus. We enjoyed greeting them before our adventures and once we got home. The property was far enough off the beaten path in a quaint little town nearby, but still close enough to go do all the things. Will definitely book this property again if we are in the area.

Excellent Review of a Beautiful Property
This is a beautiful property, exceptionally clean. The beds are very comfortable and kitchen is well-appointed with the basics. Josh, the host, is very responsive and communicative. We ran into the possibility of bad weather. Josh was proactive in his communication and he was planfull in thinking forward to our check out in the event of ice/snow. Don’t miss downtown Burnsville, so many fun shops and restaurants. Most of all… the GOATS!! The goats make this place so special.

Beautiful Cabin for Family Vacation
We had the most wonderful stay at the Fainting Goat Mountain Cabin. We've been using VRBO since 2014 and this was our favorite place by far! The cabin is much more beautiful and impressive in person. It was a perfect size and location for our vacation with our family of 5. The house has everything you need and more: very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, incredibly clean, relaxing hot tub and adorable goats. Josh is extremely responsive and will answer any questions you have and offer helpful suggestions. We found the location to be perfect for great hiking, fishing, trips to Asheville and other surrounding sites. The cabin was very peaceful and has beautiful mountain views. We hope to stay there again, maybe for Fall colors. Thank you so much for a memorable family vacation!

The Perfect Stay
Our family picked the fainting goat mountain cabin to gather for a summer break. There were four adults and two children this was perfect for us. The home was the perfect size, clean and very charming with their beautiful decor. The beds were very comfortable and all the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The location was perfect quiet area and very private. We were able to go water tubing near by on the French Broad river. We also made it out to the Biltmore in Asheville and the Sierra Nevada brewery. All great proximity. We had a beautiful kitchen where we cooked every night and an amazing hot tub which kept the kids well entertained. The goats were the icing on the cake. Absolutely adorable and so friendly. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. They were able to help us and fulfill any requests and needs. Josh was great!! Thank you and we shall return.

Great vacation
We loved our stay at Fainting Goat Mountain cabin. The views were better than advertised and the area was so peaceful. The goats were the icing on the cake for our family. Our youngest woke up every morning asking to say good morning to the goats and before bed he would say good night. We were even lucky enough to be there when the goats were fed. Our family has been coming to the mountains and renting VRBO cabins since 2015 and the owner Josh was the most responsive owner we have ever encountered. We were really impressed with our whole experience and we can’t wait to come back!

Good Times
There were eight of us that came to enjoy this beautiful area and house. The goats are fun to watch, especially the two babies. The little black one should have been named Spunky. Host Josh, was very attentive to list many places to visit and eat, and let know about a water problem that was happening in the neighborhood during the time of our stay. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place.
