We checked in and had no problem with language. (English) We were 50Meters from the Office of Tourism. You can take the #20 or 120 to Cane to see the D Day Museum, or the other way to Honfleur. The breakfast was very well set up every day. Great bread, Jams, fruit, han & "cheeses" to die for.
I had 3 large cups of coffee every morning it was great.
The bed in our small room was low to the ground. Bath was small, but the hotel is a B&B in a building I think is 150 years old.
I would stay there again and upgrade from standard room to deluxe.
