Front desk staff were helpful and spoke English well enough. Rooms are sparse and simple, basic, ask for extra pillows as you only get two for a king bed, no parking on site and you have to rely on street parking which is a hassle. Room 302 was not so good, the room had a strange odour of wet dog or sour feet when entering, opening a window didn’t help much. No air conditioning and everything felt damp because of the rainy weather.
Location is great, close to chateau Caen and the old town around the corner with some good eats and nice scenery.
