When we arrived for our prepaid booking our two single room were not 'on the system'. The reception tried to get us to share a room. When I said no it was suggested that maybe my 'husband doesn't trust me? A room was 'found' in another hotel for me and my nephew was given a room in Velvet. Although the other hotel was fine we were unable to have breakfast together. Overall unsatisfactory..

This is the worse place I have ever been. It is in an abandoned building, we had to use a makeshift elevator to get to it. The reception desk is made of a small person sitting next to small table and a copy machine. As soon as we entered the dirty rooms, they chained the entrance door, downstairs and put a large flower pots behind our doors, we could not get out. We did find a new hotel through Expedia. We did explain to hotel sonesta that we did not feel save. To come get us. Of course, we gave the address, the cell phone number for velvet. The person who came for us spoke their language, so they unchained the door to let him in, and he came to our room to rescue us. We were all terrified, we were all wondering, what could have happened if we did not leave. In my opinion, this place should never be used, it should be removed from Expedia’s list

I like that all the staff was very nice and that my room was spacious and clean. The area was very busy and it was close to many attractions. Also like that the hotel employees are very helpful they will translate and an place orders for you. It’s quiet and relaxing.

Nice people but old building
First let me say that the people here were friendly and the breakfast in the morning was nice. When we first arrived, I asked for the internet password but apparently, the young man had just started working there a couple of days previously and did not know it so I used their computer to locate it. I was not able to sleep at all because the window I'm my room was broken and did not seal, so mosquitos came in and did their work on me. All the fixtures in the bathroom, including the shower head, were falling off the wall and the hotel overall was in an old building that just needed a lot of work. Finally, in the middle of the building, people were smoking which carried through the hotel; my stay here was not pleasant.

Impossível ser pior, veja as fotos!
Muito sujo, inclusive lençóis. As toalhas são cortadas ao meio para economizar. cada quarto recebe apenas metade de uma toalha encardida e rasgada. A água quente não funciona. Na escada tem lixo e fezes (!!) veja na foto. O café da manhã é horrível, preparado num canto do corredor entre a máquina de lavar roupa e uma privada. Não dava para ficar lá, preferimos perder o que foi pago e sair correndo!

Je recommande pour un hébergement sans prétention
Arrivé dans la nuit, l'hôtel avait arrangé mon transfert depuis l'aéroport. Très pratique ! Un thé d'hospitalité en arrivant : agréable :) L'hôtel est situé dans une impasse et l'immeuble est très ancien. Ça a du charme. La réception est toujours disponible. Petit déjeuner simple qui a le mérite d'exister. Au final, un lieu sans prétention dont il ne faudra pas attendre des prestations élevées. En même temps, au prix de la nuit, c'était parfait !

it was great... hotel is close to Cairo's "french quater" /talaat harb)... very ice & helpful staff... rooms to the street (talaat harb) are noise, so try to get one of the "others"...

お洒落な部屋ですが、使い勝手は悪い
予約ミスで系列のホテルに移動。その前に２泊した際もオーバーブッキングで系列ホテルに移動。その度に無駄な時間が発生し、この人たちはなぜ簡単に人を振り回すのか不思議でした。予約したホテルに泊まることが普通だと思うのですが、同じ部屋だから、と系列ホテルに移動させるのはいかがなものでしょうか？ あと洗面にトイレットペーパーホルダーとタオル掛けがないのも不思議でした。
