Excellent Hotel central location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Forest Hotel. We loved the theme and the attention to detail. It was central for the train station and town centre. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was of good variety and quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would come back.

The staff were wonderful. They were very friendly and helpful. We stayed when the weather was hot and there is no air conditioning and the fan was not adequate, but we still enjoyed our stay and will stay there again.

Good for my work in den Helder

Pretty good. As someone recovering from a knee replacement the stairs up from the street were a little daunting. Breakfast was good though limited scope.

Great small hotel run by a nice family

A family run hotel with the small hotel charm. Rooms are clean and comfortable and i loved the small touches. eg. .The lift :) I would absolutely recommend it if you are in the area.

Forest Hotel stay

Very good location for my business trip, the room was nice and clean and made the stay comfortable. The hotel was located in close proximity to all the shops and restaurants and the food in the hotel was also good.

The hotel location was not easy to access and the parking for it was approximately 1 block away the hotel itself was fine with a good breakfast with a lot of selection available in the dining room. The hotel looked out over a pedestrian walkway that was quite busy throughout the night so if your windows were open there was a lot of pedestrian noise from partygoers returning through the walkway.

location of this hotel is brilliant. Not the nicest entrance but once inside the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff friendly and bar and breakfast area great. I would stay again here.

Nice hotel in good location

We had a nice stay in the Forrest Hotel. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable. The hallways had a strange 'prison block' feel to them, but the organic theme of the room worked well and made for a comfortable ambience.

nicely close to train station and supermarket

Short stay, short and pleasant walk to the sea wall and maritime museum; exciting views of the sea. Elevator is only inside the hotel; so if you have heavy bags, you have to take them up the initial stairs first. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Reasonably large room. You can open the window and get fresh air in; if it is cold, there is a radiator to warm things up. Nice breakfast; pleasant breakfast room, with an old piano. You can fry eggs in a skillet yourself!!
