Excellent for a one night stay

Stayed for concert in centre, so served our purpose. Continental breakfast included. Staff friendly and helpful when we told them we were vegan and is there Oat milk in the room for tea and coffee and was immediately provided with Oat milk.

The hotel served the purpose so we could attend an early appointment in Cambridge. Unfortunately at no point during the booking process was it made clear that parking was not free! A direct booking gives you free parking. Booking through a third party agent you pay, so in effect you do not save anything!

Wall quite thin so some disturbance from room next door. Wanted to iron some items and they only had a room near reception with one iron (not steam iron) where you had to take your clothes. Would be nice to be able to iron in the room.

I went with my 80 year old father who has dementia I was worried about how Dad would cope being in a room in his own but the staff made sure we had rooms together and really looked after us the evening menu is clearly made with options for older people with things like sausage and mash. The breakfast was wonderful and we were upgraded to full English as we had eaten in restaurant night before. The car park was quite big with ample spaces and the walk through the park and along river to the main centre was wonderful and only took around 10 mins. Not much to point at it terms of negatives it was a little bit cold as heating had not yet been turned on and Dads TV did not work very well but otherwise top stay

Excellent walkable location for central Cambridge. Didn't expect to have to pay £18 daily parking charge for booking via Expedia and other than directly with the hotel. Bedroom sink taps very stiff, too much for even slightly arthritic hands.

Was asked for 15 pound deposit in case of damages. A note left in room saying sorry shortstaff cannot clean room. Told nearest station to hotel cambridge north but in fact it was cambridge central so cost extra 20 pound in taxi fare and 2 extra rains to catch costing extra 6 pound on fares.
