Great room, superb breakfast staff
It was a very comfortable in a very fresh room. Bathroom was huge with a lovely shower. Breakfast was not included but had lots of choices... french toast, pancakes, a waffle maker, hot oatmeal, bakery choices, fresh fruit slices, along with scrambled eggs, potatoes and chicken apple sausage. The servers were quick to offer to cook something if you didnt find something to your liking. They made an egg white scramble with mushrooms, olives and tomatoes for me! The servers were quick to replenish the items and provided awesome service

Our 1st night there, the toilet backed up the very 1st time flushing. Someone tended to it within 10 mins and no more issues. Then, the fire alarm went of 3 times in the evening. Unless you talked to someone working at the front desk, you had no idea what was going on. It might have helped if an announcement was made over speakers regarding situation. Luckily, it wasn’t an emergency. As others have stated, parking is hit and miss.

Staffing can clean up their act. Didn’t feel welcome like when I would go to the Hyatt Hotels. Checking in was not good. Was given the key with no explanations as to how to get to the room. Even providing small details like so, can help make customer service better. The room we received was nice and clean, but the noise level was horrible. You can hear everyone screaming in the pool while I was trying to sleep. Walls sounded like they were paper thin which is horrible.

Great San Jose Hotel
I love this hotel. The staff are so friendly. The rooms are huge and so well decorated. They have a bar restaurant with great food and drinks and you can get a really good breakfast here too. Highly recommend.

Good for couples
Overall very clean, pool is located past the lobby next to a private onsite gym. Although parking was a bit lousy (compact spaces only) we had plenty of nearby shops and restaurants- and it was quiet enough this Labor Day weekend. Room had a fridge but no microwave- saw one in the lobby but didn’t try to use it. Breakfast is additional & didn’t try but looked okay for convenience.

I didn't like that breakfast is 15.00-it used to be complimentary years ago. The pull chain for the darkening shade was broken. The bathroom fan and light are sensored, leaving me in the dark while showering and the bathroom steamy. I did like the location and walk abilities for dining and groceries.On site parking was nice. Very comfortable beds!
