Located Atop The Mountain , This Cabin Has An Awesome View Of The Piedmont.

This property has two bedrooms with queen sized beds and one large bath. The living room has gas logs for cool days and AC for warm days. The sunroom rockers are a nice place to relax while viewing the sunrise or sunset. The deck is perfect for dining or just swinging and watching the day go by. There are daily visits by turkey and deer and BooBoo the bear visited in 2012. The living room has a TV along with both bedrooms. Wi-Fi is also provided. Kitchen has refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave and all the appliances you might need. Linens are furnished.

What a View

The peace and beauty of the Blue Ridge Nugget are extraordinary!
The host, Nancy, was so patient and thoughtful. The view is unbelievably wonderful, day or night. The gas fireplace was cozy, especially this time of year. Everything about this visit exceeded our hopes.

My husband and I fell in love with the house and area. It was so peaceful. We had 14 deer stay in the yard for most of the weekend. Between the wildlife and the views it was truly a slice of Heaven. Absolutely recommend staying here!

Nice house with absolutely beautiful views
We spent almost the whole weekend on the back porch with that beautiful view. There were also animals and birds to see all day long. The house was not too big but was plenty for us. The host also clearly cared about the little details to make the stay nice which meant a lot.

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home. The house was cozy and inviting. The owner was very pleasant and helpful as we got turned around a couple times getting to the house but once we got our bearings together and with assistance from Nancy we found it. Amazing views of the mountain throughout our stay, not a far drive to town, downtown Mt. Airy is Mayberry! I can go on and on. Really enjoyed our time there.

Great little get away!
Enjoyed our weekend, so peaceful and the view! We had a clear night when we arrived and could sit on that back porch all night! The home is very clean and so well appointed, you will not want for anything. Love there were drip and k-cup coffee options. Went to Gap Deli just down the road and was so lovely and enjoyable. Great location and would definitely recommend and be a repeat! Nancy is great to work with!

Most Relaxing Stay in Our Lives
Nancy, our host, was the best. She answered all of our questions and made the visit most enjoyable. I don't want to say too many good things about this excellent property for fear that it may never be available again. (Smile) The view was exceptional over looking the valley towards Pilot Mountain with Mt. Airy (Mayberry) hiding in the green land scape in between during the day and glittering beautifully at night. The quiet, the wildlife, the stream, pond, and covered bridge down the hillside was a dream. The cabin was super cozy, stocked, and wired for entertainment, although we never felt the need to turn on the TV. Turned on the fireplace and let the stresses of life melt away. What neighbors? Those we noticed waved and smiled. Be very careful! We began to call it "Home" the first time we drove into town and every night when we would drag ourselves home from Martinsville Speedway. "Lets go Home!" and we weren't talking Florida. Thanks again Nancy!!
