The good, and the not so good.
The customer service, cleanliness, and location was exceptional. But for a non-smoking room we experienced cigarette smoke, mostly in the hall, but it drifted into our room too, particularly the bathroom. And at night the music from a nearby restaurant was very loud. Would I stay here again? Hmm......maybe with ear plugs and some room freshener.

Great location as this hotel is walking distance from the ferry and so very close to heaps of shops and restaurants as well as the waterfront. A perfect place to stay. Breakfast is great and the rooms are perfect.

Horrible room and inattentive staff
Stayed there 20-22nd July. We had room 504. We paid good money for a room with a balcony. The room looked like an attic with a sloped low ceiling. The bathroom was the same. My husband hit his head many times. Shower pressure very weak and old. Balcony view was horrible (looking on to a car park with no furniture to sit on. Bed was ok but pillows worn out. Gave us this cover that was rough without a cover sheet. Staff didn't even notice you. It was hard to get attention. Breakfast was so-so. Nicer hotels in area.

Love this hotel and would happily go back.
I loved the hotel. It was in a fantastic location, the service was great. The breakfast was wonderful and the room was very clean. I was amazed at how much we got considering how little we paid for the room. Only two small complaints. The wi-fi is almost non-existent. They have wi-fi, but you can't really do anything with it. And the air conditioning is not very effective, but I noticed this in other Turkey hotels also, so that may just be a cultural expectation.

Good, practical choice for overnight
This is a modern, clean, well-run, simple hotel. Staff are hospitable and helpful. Room was small, but spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was quite satisfactory. Close to ferry landing, and with several nice-looking restaurants nearby. Overall a good experience and good value.

Good location
The hotel was hard to find and parking is difficult. Wifi is attached to your passport and we had problems getting a good connection. Not a bad hotel but location is great. Parking is tricky although they have their own lot. Breakfast was very good

Great location very close to ferry terminal, shopping and the centre of town. Eaterys everywhere. Grest scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Conveniently located hotel
The Helen Park Hotel is in a convenient location, but unfortunately backs onto what seems to be a nightclub - if you're staying here, make sure you bring ear plugs. Rooms are small with basic furniture; bathrooms are acceptable although not brilliantly maintained. Walls are paper thin so you'll know when your neighbours are in their rooms. On the plus side, there's good WiFi internet access and the buffet breakfast is well-prepared and comprehensive.
