Staff very helpful. a quick meal is in walking distance motel situated just off main road less traffic noise. Rooms very warm and cozy. Plenty of coffee etc microwave and plates etc will stay again

The manager when I complained about my first room did not hesitate to offer me another room. Said they had new cleaning staff. The issue for me is the room I was given smelled of some kind of doedoriser which was so strong. This room was acceptably clean however there were dust bunnies in the corners of the ceiling, dust on the headboard of the bed, the fridge needed defrosting desperately, there was mould in the shower in multiple places even on the grout on walls of the shower, mirrors had water marks or spray marks on them in the corners and the hand basin leaked water everytime you turned on the tap. It isnt an expensive motel however could have been a good value and a pleasant stay with a little attention to detail and maintenance. It has a possibility of much better ratings than it received from me on this occasion. Also noted areas within motel grounds were collecting stuff so looked untidy. The pluses are comfortable bed, quiet aircon and nice dark room.

Comfortable room. The bed mattress wasn't too good though. Reception was great, there is a restaurant advertised on the Web sites but its closed. Plenty of food options within easy walking distance

I had a terrible stay. When I arrived, I had paid for my stay through Expedia but was asked to pay again. I paid reluctantly since I had already paid for the accomodation. I managed to contact Expedia and they spoke to the property. The lady that was doing the refund had no idea how to actually do a refund and she left with my visa card to do the refund. I do not understand whether Expedia and the motel have not worked together before. It was not a good start to the stay. I was assigned Room 12 and it was not locking and then I was moved to Room 28 upstairs. The lady actually mentioned before she moved me that this was the third time the door in Room 12 had not locked, so I wondered why I was put in that room in the first place. After moving to Room 28, the lady I think for reasons not known to me but only known to herself forgot she moved me. I decided to sleep in on the Wednesday during my stay because I had not slept properly on my flightfrom Perth and had been running around all day on the Tuesday. Around 10am on Wednesday morning, there was a loud knock on the door and the door was suddenly opened. If it wasn't for the internal latch the door would have been opened. The same lady, I am assuming, says 'Who is in there? You have not paid for this room'. I then reminded her that she had moved me from the room downstairs that wasn't locking. She then apologized. I don't know if they do not have a record 😕 of when they move guests. The room I was moved to was dirty.
