Loved. Loved. Loved this place! Everything was absolutely beautiful. Food was excellent. Particularly the mexican steakhouse. Best steak ever. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We wished we could have stayed another day. First time at an all inclusive and this place surpassed all of our expectations!

I was looking for a place where I can celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and our second year anniversary. I booked the Serenity Club, Ramance Junior suite, swim out, ocean front. We were looking for a place where we can enjoy some quiet time, spend time with each other, have good food, catch some sun and have private moments but still be able to enjoy the ocean and its beautiful view. We got what we were looking for. We want to thank the staff for being professional, kind and make the place look spotless and clean. A special thanks to Miguel Cabrera who happened to be our butler and made our stay magical. He was always attentive to our needs, professional, knowledgeable and an amazing personality. He made sure our room felt like we were always celebrating our anniversary, with bed decorations and setting the room as the title indicates romance. He made sure my girlfriend's birthday was a complete surprise. I would recommend this place for couples who want to spend some quality time and not so much the party scene.

Haven was wonderful. The property was gorgeous and extremely well taken care of. The room was well kept and very clean. The staff were very attentive. All of the restaurants and buffet offered a wide selection of foods and the bars kept the drinks coming. I could not have asked for anything more.

Really great service, awesome pools, great food - especially the Japanese restaurant. I would say the resort needs to update the dress code requirements. There are nice shirts acceptable for upscale restaurants now that are not the classic collared shirt, such as a Henley collar or even ones with a crew or v neck style. Also, the dress code was not shared with us before arrival, which could have been an unwelcomed surprise for a traveler that only packed t-shirts.

The hotel was beyond beautiful. The staff was overall amazing. My room was always maintained with towels and restocked. I would say they could clean the bathroom shower heads and the mirrors more. Everything else was perfect. The staff was so welcoming from the very beginning to the end. There was one staff in specific that stood out since the moment I met him. SAHEL. I got engaged and since the moment he found out about out engagement he made everything special for my fiancé & I. From decorating our dinner tables and pool beds and taking his time to do everything for us. He should receive a raise or a higher position. He is one of a kind employee. I really appreciated his hospitality and friendliness that he gave us. Thank you for everything SAHEL.

Great honeymoon in Haven for half off
We got a really good deal on this hotel, but don’t know if it would be worth the full price. The hotel is run down in areas, looks like it could be due to weather damage, and smells very damp, with mould on a lot of the outdoor furniture. The restaraunts were fine, but again if I was paying full price I would have been much more disappointed. We had a great time at the resort for what we paid, the staff were so great and there was always something to do. Vora Mar was our favourite, Olios was the least favourite. The buffet was great for breakfast and okay for lunch. I’d love to try more of the Mexican dishes but unfortunately cannot eat meat or cheese which was on most of them. We also paid extra for the tequila, mezcal and chocolate tasting that was absolutely fantastic. Other highlights include the breakfast servers that was always so happy, the mixology bartenders, cocktails at the lobby bar and Pepe at the pool activities!
