The worst experience we ever had, since the first day the accommodations were different than we reserved, we had to escalate to the hotel manager and they changed our rooms, one of them with fishy smell and the other worst, they said the smell was because the manglar, the staff unfriendly, one day they were out of ice, they didn’t serve any beverages during the whole day, one of our worst experiences in all inclusive hotel, we paid a lot of money for a very poor service, the food very low quality but the service is the worst, first and last time in this hotel chain

Overall we had a good stay. I would not recommend paying extra for the diamond club as it didn’t provide much benefit although our butlers were very attentive. We were hoping there would be more activities for adults during the day and that coffee was provided throughout the resort especially in the mornings. They said there was coffee in The diamond club lounges but most of the time there wasn’t or it was cold. Reservations were very difficult to make and often could only get very early or very late. We recommend the Hideaway if you don’t have kids. The foam parties were a lot of fun!

My Husband and I spent 4 nights at the Royalton Riviera Cancun. We stayed in a Hideaway Presidential Ocean front suite and loved the location of the room. The room was pretty much exactly as pictured on the website with one exception; you will not know which suite you are going to have until you check in. We wanted the roof top terrace and after speaking to some folks there, we realized that that there are only a few so unlikely you will get this suite. The room was spacious and well stocked. It rained two days and we still enjoyed our stay. It was relaxing to sit on the balcony and hear the waves crashing. We had butlers which was quite nice for booking dining reservations and cabana's at the beach (otherwise you have to go out very early in the morning to save a chair). Alejandro was great! The resort is beautiful, however, the rooms and the hallways are showing signs of wear. We ate at the buffet for breakfast and the steakhouse for dinner. Both were okay. The service was excellent! We had two small issues, first, the balcony jacuzzi and the floors did not look or feel clean when we arrived. Alejandro and the cleaning staff made every attempt to clean with wet mops instead of dry upon request. Second, the room was damp and a little musty at times. These two issues would not stop us from going back because the beachfront Suite was worth it!

I enjoyed my stay. I will be returning again in the future. I just wish to check in process was a little more smoother. I only went for the weekend and I felt like the staff during my check-in process was very inconsiderate. They held me hostage for over two hours before providing me with the keys to my room to discuss timeshares that I’m not interested in. Beautiful hotel with beautiful amenities. I love the room and the staff, but the check-in process needs major improvement. I went on vacation to relax not be harassed about a timeshare plan.

Gorgeous room… however i couldnt use the jacuzzi on the terrace that is specifically bought that room for because it would constantly make my power go out! Reservations for restairants constantly booked so i was only ever able to eat in the buffet.. buffet food was decent however i wanted to experience the other restaurants!!! So not fair smh i wouldnt go back.. however it wasnt TERRIBLE.. but just not for me
