We stayed in room 1430 (laguna view), and overall, the room felt quite run-down. There were rusted metal hinges, a leaking faucet, and the edges of the wooden furniture were broken or split. The safe worked, but the lock was bent. On the positive side, the staff was friendly. Upon arrival, they welcome you and mention providing a welcome bag, but despite there being 3 of us, we only received one beach bag. This welcome talk is focused on selling tour packages.
The breakfast was basic, with options like assorted bread, fruit, omelettes, and pancakes—not worth the $25 per adult charge. The pool was clean, and while the beach was fairly clean, there were sea plants scattered around. Be prepared for mosquitos if you're by the Sea and Stone restaurant or lounging on a beach chair.
We tried the wings, fries, and beer at Arena Sports Bar, which were okay, but the food at Sea and Stone was pricey- We had pizza, salmon, and a seafood combo, and all of it was below average.
