We stayed here for a couple of nights before leaving Cancun, and the beachfront access alone gives this property great value. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the bathrooms could definitely use better ventilation. The sports bar had plenty of food options, and everything we tried was surprisingly good. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

I had the most amazing, restful, spirit lifting stay! I enjoyed the spa on 2 separate occasions, met some really cool staff, my king bed room with balcony and ocean view was quiet and had a beautiful view. Staff were friendly and helpful and I had everything I needed away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I felt like I was at home away from home there! Good food, great coffee at the Starbucks located on site, and beautiful mornings along the beach watching the sunrise. I have no complaints and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay within the hotel zone but further from the business and crowds. 12 dollar CND to catch an uber into town if wanted. Thank you Westin and Mexico for filling a gals soul and lifting her spirits! First solo trip out of country and it won’t be my last! Give the vacation club presentation a chance too… it’s better than the reputation it gets I think!

I didn't get a map, amenities list or welcome packet when i arrived - no information in fact. Even after I said I'd never sayed there before. I found my consierge the next day. While he did make a reservation for me, he gave me bad information regarding the spa coupon. Which was pretty much useless as it's only valid at 9 & 6 for a specific service. BTW - the 9 was booked since before i arrived and the latest appt was at 5, (6 is not even offered). I finally got a smaller discount after I complained. My room didn't get cleaned until after my 2nd request (10 & 4) after I was gone all day I had to leave my room and wait for service. I asked a different concierge(never agian saw the one assigned to me) for some creamer and sugar for my coffee in my room. Never got it. After I bought coffee at the market, i was asked if i needed anything. I again asked for creamer and sugar. He couldn't help but did say that I was the 3rd person that morning who asked for it. No one seemed to know where yoga was. I got bad information twice and never did make it to one session.At checkout, the man was nice but his printer wasn't working. When he asked the gal to print my invoice for him, she looked annoyed and made a great deal of noise getting it done. Also, i received an email asking for my travel details to send over to ONE for hotel transfer. I did so, amd never heard back. I'm not the biggeat fan of resorts to begin with and after this I can't imagine ever coming back.
