Even when I had paid in Expedia for the hotel, I was told at the end that I had just prepaid and was charged twice for the room again. Despite multiple conversations with Expedia and their being told by the hotel that the charge was for a credit card deposit that will be returned, 4 weeks after, I am still calling and getting the same reply. Beware of this situation.

Although it could use a little updating, cosmetically, it was a pleasant stay. I wish they would allow cash paymebtd on the property in the restaurants and bars. It is far from everything walking, but the bus stop is down the hill or you could get a taxi. Gilberth (taxi driver was amazing). Westin guests get a discount at Puerto Madero restaurant. The food was soooo good.

The staff at the property was very pleasant and full of information on everything from booking excursions, to eating at local owned restaurants. Pool staff and the Sports Bar staff were on top everything. Beautiful all around facility.

The property was up kept well by the staff. The bell service personnel were wonderful, as was housekeeping. There is not a usable beach. Although the resort has a wonderful sandy area with chairs above the beach. The pool was nice. There is nowhere to eat or get food that is nearby other than the resort and that food/drink was very expensive and mediocre in taste. When our room flooded in the middle of the night, the response was “do you want maid service or do you really need to move rooms?” We had to ask three times and explain there was an inch of water in our room. We were eventually moved. I would not return given the price of the room and all additional food costs.

There isn’t much beach, there are only two restaurants, breakfast and poolside … nothing walkable outside of the hotel… the rooms and pools were nice enough.
