The multiple options of restaurants within the resort was convenient and having unlimited drinks during our stay was the best! Staff was very friendly and helpful since the moment we got there and Hector, who helped us take our luggage to our room, was very helpful with letting us know the times the restaurants opened and what were the most popular dishes to have. Having the beach at a walking distance from our room was amazing and we had a magnificent ocean view from our room.

A small resort, better suited for families with younger kids. Pros: Fantastic staff, good food (poolside tacos are awesome), excellent 24/7 coffee shop, very clean, candy store is a nice touch. Cons: Very small pool area and limited number of chairs on the beach. Have to hustle for spots on the beach before breakfast or have to rent a cabana for $60.This was a major con for us. The evening entertainment is very limited. The live music is nice, but ends at 11. A DJ a couple of nights a week or after the live performances would have made a huge difference.

We had a wonderful time at this resort as a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Food was good for a resort.Our favorite place to get food was Sunset Grill and the tacos by the pool were amazing. Beach is beautiful, waves are rough for little kids,not swimmable. You can get in to your knees.Lots of shells,do not try to bringing them back it is not allowed. Getting into restaurants is hard if you are not early eaters. Everyone wants the Italian restaurant but not worth the hassle. Coffee bar is wonderful and nice that its 24 hours. People and staff are very friendly. We will definitely be visiting again!

We love resort. Have been 3 times, and plan to come back in a year or so. The staff make you feel like family. The resort has lots to offer. And their actives will keep you busy ALL THE TIME. The nightly shows are amazing. The candy store is super cute, and fun. The beach is clean, and they keep the seaweed to a minimum, The pools are awesome, and the pool staff make sure you always have a drink in your hand.

Overall, this was a great stay but it did have flaws. Pros: beautiful beach and ocean, mostly good food apart from the lunch buffet, good drinks, friendly staff, spacious and cozy room Cons: extremely thin walls/could hear truck beeping every night outside and people screaming in the halls, WAY too many kids 5 and under, almost impossible to get seated for dinner unless you show up right at 5 pm and get on the waitlist, charging ports didn’t work in rooms, not enough beach chairs or palapa umbrellas by a LONG shot. Overall, beautiful property, but we will likely go elsewhere next time. If you don’t like screaming kids, this is your sign to go elsewhere. But again, beautiful property and kind staff

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and accommodating with everything we needed. Rooms were nice and clean. The location of the resort was perfect as well, close to the airport and maybe 10-15min walk to the mall.

Low value for money
Hotel experience was mediocre. While service was good, we felt that value for money was very low. Main problems were: Long waits for dinner. We had waited 20 min to just get on a waiting list! (easily solvable with a digital app) and then waited an hour or more for a table. If we could do this in an app instead of waisting valuable vacation time experience would have improved. Buffet: While it had many options including vegetarian, the morning pastries and bread buns were inedible - dry as rock. And the deserts, while looked good, tasted all the same and mediocre at best. Hotel in general was very bare. No decor, not greenery. There was a planter with dead weeds in our balcony overlooking the beach... just felt very inhospitable in general. Warning: laguna-looking rooms (the back of the hotel) were overlooking the main road, and is noisy (we upgraded after one night). So, again, just felt like much lower value than what we paid. We will avoid Wyndham after this trip.
