Our stay at Northwinds Hotel Canmore was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained — offering the perfect blend of comfort and mountain charm. The room was beautiful! The tub was a large soaker tub, it was so luxurious!! The mountain view was perfect! The gas fireplace was a wonderful touch! The only things I would improve would be: the timer on the fireplace I would extend from 30 minutes to an hour, the plug for the tub didn't fully seal so it slowly drained, and I found that the sound of people walking by in the hallway carried into the room, yet while in the hallway I did not hear sounds coming out of any rooms, so I still felt we had privacy. Overall the room was quite nicely decorated, the furniture (desk, table, and night stands) were quite uniquely designed and gorgeous, with shelves and drawers that were very accessible, as well as built in power bars with standard plugs as well as USB ports. The bed was very comfortable! The online check-in was very easy and convenient, and it saved us from waiting in the small lineup at the desk when we arrived. We will definitely stay here again!

Room was clean (and were picky!). Good size. Love the fireplace. LOVED THE MOUNTAIN VIEW! The receptionist who was working Oct 14 in the evening was sooooo willing to accommodate us… she immediately shovelled the icy snow in the accessible parking for us. And insisted on removing it for our car. She was awesome.
