They catered exceptionally well for my GF Coeliac diet. Room very clean and comfortable. Staff very attentive and well mannered. Room a bit noisy at night due to it facing busy main road.x

The hotel on the whole is ok, the public areas are nice and the service is good but this hotel is let down with the dated rooms. The rooms have poor fixtures and fittings, and the room I had was unsuitable for the modern traveller (two plug sockets).

Pros - Very conveniently located for shopping and dining. The hotel was clean, staff very helpful and polite. Room comfortable, very comfortable bed, clean with view overlooking main road. Breakfast was outstanding. Cons - The area is a bit grotty as are the streets going into city centre. Pay to park £15 per night. Why am I paying to park in the grounds of the hotel I’m staying at. There is traffic noise, but we stayed on a Monday so it wasn’t too bad. Very lumpy pillows,

Convenient hotel for a Cardiff City break
A good hotel which is close to the castle, the city centre and only a short walk through Bute Park to Glamorgan Cricket. Lots of pubs, bars and restaurants nearby.

The hotel room liked tired. The curtains were torn at the back and caper had stain makes that looked like had been there for a very long time. The bathtub had crack marks with a rusty colour.. I was very disappointed with the standard of the rooms. If it was a budget hotel then maybe my expectations would have been lower.
