Stayed at the property for a gig at Cardiff castle, was literally a two minute walk. Lots of food and shops around. Room is perfect, clean tidy, lovely bed and nice bathroom. The bar upstairs was great for drinks also.

Bed extremely uncomfortable. Got moved to a room which was not made up - dirty unmade bed, towels on the floor. Could only accommodate a down grade to what we paid for. Hotel very tired looking in places. Main lift broken and other lift could be accessed to general public making it feel unsafe walking around the hotel. Staff generally un helpful and our requests were not acted upon. Location great for shopping, however lots of alcohol filled, aggressive, undesirable people in very close proximity to the entrance of the hotel with no hotel security. This made it feel very unsafe.

super, polite checkin ladies.
only stayed the one night on business. Parking was a 5 min walk away, i thought the hotel had its own parking. The lifts were not working, but there was alternative lifts i could use. The room was much nicer than i assumed, and i got upgraded, this was a nice surprise as the mini bar and treats were free. The ladies on checkin were super polite and very helpful indeed.. over all it was a pleasant 1 night stay.

Excellent stay.
Very nice hotel, friendly inviting reception staff, room was nice and little quirky, shower was excellent, lovely hot and refreshing all high quality furnishings in bathroom. Just few things I would say mattress was very soft (personally needs to be firmer), shower screen needs re sealing as water leaking out, and headboard has a little peeling on the leather part. Niggly things to say about but wouldn’t stop me recommending to anyone and will look to stay here again if coming to events in Cardiff again for sure.

Hotel Indigo was a wonderful choice for an overnight stay in Cardiff. The room was rather lovely, and the hotel staff I interacted with very pleasant. I must make a special commendation to Maya, who was able to let me keep my room right up to the time my train home was due. I have stayed in quite a few hotels in central Cardiff, and this was by far the happiest I've been anywhere.

Good food and excellent service , issue was we were in the fourth floor and the lifts did not work , it did cause us problems , still out of order upon us leaving with luggage, air con extremely noisy ( room 415) had to switch it off at night or inturupted sleep Not quite 10/10 this visit

We were asked when we checked in if we would like a room with a view or a quieter room we chose a room with a view, when we got to our room there was no view at all as the windows were opaque, Spoke to reception about this but she simply said “ we must have run out and walked off “

Front desk staff on check-in were amazing, and made us feel very welcome! Air conditioning in room was amazing! Although the room was a bit smaller than expected, the space was clean and furnishings a lovely surprise. The bed was not nearly as firm as we would have liked, and might be long overdue a mattress change. The windows in the room were an absolute waste as they faced ugly exterior walls and staircases. Even with a room on the first level, it was very quiet, with the exception of loud drilling in an adjacent room our first morning there. Room staff was pleasant enough but, unfortunately, our requests for replacement of hand soap (bottle was empty) and coffee packets (only two packets in room on check-in) went unheeded. Not sure whether it was due to language barrier or short supply of the items requested, as when coffee was then requested from the front desk staff, we were given only two packets. Overall, the hotel did not feel quite up to the level of a four star property. We felt that it is not entirely as advertised. Not sure whether a room on a higher floor would have provided a better impression. Unfortunately, don't think we will be staying at this property again.
