Nice hotel
This was our second stay but we didn’t book breakfast as the cost of the room was already higher than the bed and breakfast we booked last time. One thing I was disappointed about in the room was the lack of biscuits! We were given some last time with the tea and coffee which was a nice treat

Standards have dropped!
Booked as we have stayed previously. There was not enough toilet paper for one night and we ran out! Last time we stayed, we had complimentary drinks in the fridge, however, this was not provided on this stay so a little disappointing. Room was smaller than ones we had stayed in previously. I think I would book a more competitively priced hotel next time. Breakfast was good. Staff are always lovely.

This was a New Year's Eve stay - we had dinner in a nearby restaurant and then returned to the hotel's 6th floor bar. It was a relief to find a civilised space after the noise of the restaurant and surrounding streets. We'd been told the bar would close at 11pm, but the bar staff kept it open for those of us up there at midnight - which was hugely appreciated - and into the bargain we were able to see spectacular fireworks from across Cardiff Bay. Other highlights included the excellent buffet breakfast, my comfortable bed and the shower, with buttons to turn it on and off. The hotel is located in the Dominion Arcade and has 24 hour reception, which makes it more secure.

Great hotel
Had a lovely stay here, very centrally located in the shopping area. Comfortable good size room plus breakfast was really nice. Only downside is that there is only one lift for both staff and guests so you can end up waiting a while for it!
