The location was convenient and suited our needs but we could hear loud music until 3am! The staff were all friendly and attentive. Areas of the hotel are looking rather tired but it's still a grand, old building with an impressive staircase.

Fine for an overnight stay.
Good base to stay while in Cardiff. Impressive foyer, helpful reception staff. Can’t comment on bar or restaurant as we didn’t use them. Nice room, spacious but a bit dated and bathroom was cold from the single glazed windows. Nice quiet location but some noise from air con/kitchen vents. Large but very springy bed!

Although the exterior of the outside of the hotel was very tired looking , inside was charming. Room was very clean , breakfast was lovely . Staff was very accommodating, so pleasant and helpful and within easy walking distance of city centre. Will definitely stay here again.
