We stayed in a suite over our wedding weekend. The staff were so accommodating and the suite was perfect. A great place to get ready as well as rest! Plenty of space, lovely little touches and a clean space.

On arrival the room was very cold. It took several hours to warm up. It should not have been set up so. The Sorting Room restaurant was very poor. The lobster Thermidor was quite the worst I could imagine. The breakfast was unimaginative, in particular, the much lauded sausages were mostly cereal!

Hotel and staff were amazing. Couldnt do enough for us . I will go back . Breakfast was stunning lots of it great choice. However at 7.30am the breakfast was cold . Beautiful hotel. I will go back there.

First time staying here and have to say it was beautiful. Great location, tastefully decorated, large, comfortable rooms. Beautiful bed, excellent bathroom and shower. Restaurant also excellent for dinner. Would happily stay here again and it’s great that Cardiff has a hotel of this calibre. Two minor peeves - no fridge or kettle in the rooms, there is an espresso pod machine. Also no designated car park or set down area, we parked in the train station car park which is a 5-7min walk in the Welsh weather. There is an NCP up the road but couldn’t get the car to fit in the spaces! A valet would be a very welcome addition!

Stayed here a few times never get a free upgrade always pay for it another scam By the vip access the hotel does not honour it reception staff are never helpful they can’t wait to be done with you location is great however the bathroom on this occasion absolutely had a horrible smell of drainage checked out early - will definitely look at other hotel options
