I sent this email to this hotel. Also followed up with another message, and got no reply. Customer service is abysmal. My letter to them: Recently, I’ve started staying at Brookstreet regularly. My parents are in a nearby elder care facility, and the your hotel has been a convenient and comfortable place to stay when visiting them. I typically stay overnight and can visit them twice, the evening when I arrive, and the following day, before heading home. Last weekend, however, was an exception. I had a junior suite booked for the night of November 22. The hotel was very busy and was hosting an event. I arrived after 4 pm, the check-in time, and was told my junior suite was not available yet. A rush was put on getting the room ready, and I was told it would only be a few minutes. I was given a drink voucher and asked to wait in the bar and told I’d be called on my cell phone when the room was made up. By around 5:30, my phone had not rung. I went back into line and when I got to the counter, the hotel representative told me that my room was still not ready but would see if I could be put somewhere else. Another junior suite was found, and sometime around 5:45 or 6 pm I finally got checked in. It was now too late to join my family for dinner. As well, the room to which I was assigned was directly over the party tent for an event. There was loud music playing in the evening. This was not a quiet or pleasant stay, not worth the $363. Any they don’t care.

There were people partying at 4 am on our floor. This woke us up and caused extreme inconvenience since we have a baby who needed to be put back to sleep. The party was stopped only after I called down and complained. On the next morning, I expressed this to the rep and all she did was gave me a card to talk to the manager to see if I can get discounts for future stays! I am not going to stay there again so the discount is of no use. Providing a good night sleep is the only thing we needed from them which they failed to provide!
