10-day stay while I worked. Great location very close to the water. Bird sanctuary about a mile across the sound. You can paddle over but cannot get inside the signs about 30 yards out. Still close enough to see every conceivable shorebird and their chicks scurrying around. Cranes, egrets, terns, gulls, pelicans of all descriptions. Binoculars make them close.
I liked the location because there was no surf, so it was easy to launch a kayak or standup paddle board. The water is literally a few steps from the stoop. It was nice to sit in the chairs at the end of the day. The hosts are super nice and responsive.
This is one of the few remaining quaint places in Florida. No high rises or gaudy t-shirt shops. Not many places to eat. A couple of family seafood restaurants. No fast food. One IGA store. I like that.
RV is roomy for two. Bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it in the morning.
