I really enjoyed my stay here. The extended stay was clean, great area, lots of space, great restaurant and bar area. The only issues I had was the room was not soundproof, I could hear the people beside very clear in the bathroom, the pipes are exposed, and the sink took a long time getting hot. Positives include: make-up face clothes, extra hanger provided as I asked, bathrobes, and friendly staff.

Noisy room #100.

The room we stayed in was #100. It was about 60 feet from a many lane road over the Oostanaula river. There was heavy traffic even throughout the night. It was hard to get any sleep. When mentioning it at checkout, the clerk said she couldn’t sleep in any of the rooms. The hotel may want to invest in ways to buffer some of the noise.

Great histoical gem

This hotel is a historical gem and so much a part of the city. Every corner opened up an opportunity to enjoy the building former self. Service was friendly, professional and accommodating. The bar/ restaurant was extremely enjoyable and obviously a hangout for locals. I will definitely be back.

1. We reserved a queen room but was given a full bed instead 2. Beds are hard and very uncomfortable 3. extension cords running down walls and wrapped around hand rails. 4. Skylight is horriblyplaced over the bed; the shade machine is so loud that if anyone uses it in the middle ofthe night it can be heard in other rooms and wakes you up 5. Wifi login never worked 6. No one was ever at the front desk to speak to 7. Hotel advertises breakfast but there isn't and there are no options given. 8. Everything close by doesn't open until after 9am so finding breakfast is hard 9. Old carpets that felt sticky and dirty to walk in 10. Very tiny bathroom that touches the toilet when you open the door 11. Drop in bath system 12. VERY outdated rooms 13. Advertises a kitchen but has no utensils 14. Paid an extra fee to check in early @ 1pm; however couldnt check in until 2:30pm and still had to pay the extra fee

We came in for one evening to see a show. This was a convenient spot to stay as we could walk to the show and have dinner and drinks just a block over. Lots of variety to choose from. While we had high expectations based on a recommendation, we were disappointed in some areas. Staff was great! The place was clean and the bed was made lovely. The pillows were so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep - I knew now why so many were bringing their own! This was a cause for a restless night's sleep. Some areas that could easily be updated, rusting vent covers and throw away rusting hand mirrors. Having nothing would have been better. The mirror on the bathroom was so distorted I couldn't see myself. So while small, it makes for such a difference when someone is staying in an unfamiliar space. Overall the building is a lovely attempt to save and reuse an older property.
