The NOCE Cottage is part of the Holiday Farmhouse ( Agriturismo) Monti 1824 in Casole d'elsa.
Monti 1824 is completly family run, and it is our own personal commitment to great care of the estate and the gardens to make this place a special one, not just for us but also for all our visitors. Me and my parents work together to keep Monti 1824 at its best and to give our guests a complete assistance during the stay. It is in our choice not to have an official reception office. Maybe you need any assistance? or simply have a question? You can knock at our door of our home. There will be always someone available to help you! The Noce Cottage has a private location but not far from the main farm where we live.
The Noce Cottage lies in an environment one of the most beautiful that nature can offer : the beautiful Tuscan countryside, with its gentle hills dotted by the regular geometry of vineyards and olive groves. The cottage is a typical barn of the 1600’s, beautifully restored. Every little detail is designed to give its guests an unforgettable holiday in the countryside, among the trees and flowers. That beautiful property develops on two levels. On ground floor there is the sitting room with sofas and satellite tv;the kitchenette very fully equipped with fridge, refrigerator, oven, microwave, 4 burner gas, dishwasher, coffee machine,kettle,toaster etc.
On ground floor there is also one of the two bathrooms with XL shower. On first floor there are the 2 very bright and cozy bedrooms with air conditioned. The second bathroom is in romantic tuscan style with XL shower and bright skylight. In front of entrance there is a panoramic patio with view over the hills ,equipped with table,chairs and parasol. The entire property is sourrounded by a green private enclosed garden where one can relax and enjoy the Tuscan sun. The outdoor areas are covered by the wi fi connection. The cottage is connected with the Village Casole by a safe path ( 1 km- 10 min by walking).
The area lends itself to a fun filled family holiday, especially when you are interested about the local culture, traditions and meeting the Tuscans. Casole d'elsa is just 1 km from the Holiday House ( there is a well mantained path , illuminated at night) and it is a lovely little town with an exceptionally packed social calendar. You will always find concerts , markets , activities and events that will bring you into the authentic atmosphere.
Casole d'Elsa is a small medieval village located 420 m above sea level at the top of the hill. Well ventilated, it has a dry climate and pleasantly temperate. The heart of Casole is the "piazza Lucchetti", the small central square with its historic buildings dating from the Middle Ages, with narrow streets and small shops where you can buy typical products of the region or taste the delicious specialities in the restaurants on the small streets of the center... A characteristic of this small town is certainly the warmth and kindness of people who still live according to the old traditions and rhythms of life without pollution or stress.
PLEASE NOTE : Noce cottage is part of the Agriturismo Monti 1824 where are present other 5 holiday units for rent. If your dates for the Noce are not available ,please contact us to receive information about the other accommodations present on place. Monti 1824 offers 3 apartments and 3 cottages + a panoramic swimming pool.
ABOUT CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT :
1.Check-in guaranteed not before than 16.00h and until 18.00h. In case of delay ,please contact previously the owner.
2.Check out by 9:00 am.
3.Delivery of the key by the owner ( no self check in )
OPTIONAL COSTS NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE:
+Heating ( on a pay per use basis) : 1.90 euros per hour. There is a thermostat with hour counter inside the apartment to allow the guests using it when they prefer. Period by law for heating use: 1 st November - 15 April .
+Washing machine: 5 euros / wash
+Extral change of towels and linen ( on request) : 16 euros per person
+Mid- cleaning ( on request) : 50 euros
+Pool towels ( on request) : 5 euros / each .Pool towels are not included in the towel set,so must be booked before the arrival date. If pool towels are not booked in advance we cannot guarantee to provide them.
+baby cot with sheets and towels ( on request) : 50 Euros - to pay locally and to book before arrival
+Air conditioning from June 1st to September 15th is included. Please note that at other times of the year it is not calculated in the rent but paid extra on site at a cost of 40 Euro per day / 280 Euro per week.
Air conditioning is only in the 2 bedrooms with 2 separate machines (cool only).
MANDATORY EXTRA COSTS:
STAY TAX : Stay tax will be requested in cash upon arrival and it mandatory for all guests starting from 12 years old. Cost is 2.50 Euros /night per person starting from 12 years old

+ THE WIFI COVERS ONLY SOME OUTDOORS AREAS. Speedness variable. Not recommended for smart working.
+air conditioning is only in the 2 bedrooms with 2 separate machine ( only cool ). Use of the air conditioning as by law is allowed from 1st June until 15th September.
+Owners family lives in the farmhouse
+The farmhouse is composed of 6 holiday accommodations + swimming pool
+The pool is shared with the other accommodations of the holiday farmhouse Monti 1824 .
+Close to the local town Casole ( 1 km).
+Pool open from April 1st till October 30th (opening may vary depending on weather conditions). Opening time 8.00 - 19.30 .
+Guests will find only upon arrival a starter kit with some courtesy products to start their stay : toilet paper roll ( 2) , hand soap, some dish soap, a few dishwasher tablets.
IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDDEN!
-introuduce people not included in the reservation and not recorded as Monti 1824 's guests inside the estate (swimming pool, garden, apartment and parking)
-smoking inside the accommodation
-organize parties or meetings
