So, this place is pretty new and has been designed properly as a hostel from the beginning rather than just a converted flat with a few bunk beds in each room.
It's just off the main road, but in a private gated courtyard-like area, so its central and quiet which is not normally possible.
The outdoor area is perfect for chilling and meeting others, the bar is nice, and the rooms can be accessed either by the normal, standard indoor staircase or the huge impressive lit up white staircase on the outside via the balcony.
My room was the 8 bed dorm but this was no problem as it is a huge room. The lockers are also huge but best of all, the beds are huge. If they were any wider they would be classed as a double. 120cm wide I'd take a guess at. Either way, bigger than any other hostel I've stayed at.
The aircon was also great as it was remarkably quiet. No chance of someone being annoyed by the aircraft-like noises of other units I've had elsewhere.
The bathroom, yep, still new too very nice and modern. Always clean too.
The service? Incredible. It was the most comprehensive check in I've ever had by far. If anything, too much info upon arrival! Even if I had an obscure question, it could be answered. Oh, and there is a resident Labrador :)
Downsides?
I'm struggling to think of any. I'd have to nitpick.
4 Euros is a lot for a beer at the bar there. Personally I think if it was cheaper then it would encourage people to stay there for the evening.
But still, overall: awesome
