An elegant chateau nestled in a landscaped park surrounded by high walls and a beautiful swimming pool. A property full of character with many original elements, along with a lovely covered terrace great for 'al fresco' dining with the family, overlooking the gardens and pool area. A perfect French country retreat in the heart of the Perigord Entering this chateau via the grand gates, you will find the front of the property accessed via the pretty courtyard with its hundred-year-old trees and apple orchard. There is a quaint renovated guest cottage with a beautiful covered terrace to one side and the main facade of the Chateau in front.
Inside the chateau, all the living rooms of the castle also over look the courtyard and gardens. There is a large grand living room with a monumental fireplace and a beautiful large dining room with its tailor-made bookcases surrounding another fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking stove, ovens, dishwasher, American fridge freezer, microwave, kettle toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. Also in the ground floor is a laundry room and toilet.
A seven-hundred year old limestone spiral staircase takes you to the 1st floor and to the master bedroom with ar large and beautiful fireplace, spacious separate bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower room and dressing room. Up another level is the enormous loft bedroom with its original beamed ceiling, large fireplace, stone turret and its own shower room and toilet. Also on this side of the Chateau is a further double bedroom with separate full sized bathroom. n
In the wing of the house dating from the 16th century, you will find three further bedrooms, (2 single beds, 1 double and 1 large single) each with its own bathroom / shower room, accessible by a pretty wooden staircase.

The guest house which is in the courtyard of the castle, includes a living room with kitchenette, a ground floor bedroom with double bed, a ground floor shower room and a large mezzanine of where you will find four further single beds
nOutside, there is an abundance of space within the walled grounds, landscaped gardens and a beautiful 12 x 6 swimming pool and terrace. The pool is normally open from mid May until the end of September. It is not heated but can be heated at an additional charge (if weather conditions allow for it).
This truly is a little piece of countryside heaven to spend quality family time creating memories.
Bed and bath linen is not included in the price, as our guests generally like to save the cost of this. However, we do offer an optional full set of bed and bath linen. This can be ordered and paid for during booking.
A compulsory cleaning\ fee is charged at the time of booking.
However, the house must not be dirty left when the tenants leave. We ask our tenants to leave the accommodation as they find it on their arrival (kitchen and sanitary facilities clean, fridge and cupboards emptied, no trace of apparent dirt, bins removed, etc.). If the accommodation is left dirty, the Tenant will have a deduction from the deposit for the extra time spent cleaning the accommodation. The tenant will be informed without delay by message via the platforms, by sms or email, with photo(s) and/or video(s).
