Old renovated cottage, independent. Located in a 15th century property. Calm ensures. View of a pretty frame of flowery greenery. Field of 4 hectares behind.
WELCOME TO THE SOUTH OF VIENNA! My cottage is located 50 km south of Poitiers, at the border of the Charente and Deux Sevres, in a cute little flowered village of 200 inhabitants.
Very easy access. From Poitiers, take the RN 10 towards Angouleme and turn right on Chaunay. Then turn left onto Champagne le Sec (three km further on). It is opposite the town hall (type town hall on the GPS). You will recognize the 2 porches at the entrance and the cottage is immediately on the right.
The nearest shops are 3 km away, in Chaunay, with a market on Monday morning.
At 10 km, the beautiful town of Civray, bordered by the Charente, gives you access to a larger shopping center, restaurants, a swimming pool-hammam and sauna. There are also several lakes around 10 km away and many attractions (monkey valley, eagle castle, crocodile planet, sled dogs, horse riding, tree climbing, pike fishing).
Magnificent parks (Parc de la Belle), castles, museums and medieval towns to visit (Poitiers, Chauvigny, Montmorillon, Cite de l'ecrit).
On site, there is a ping pong table (bring your rackets) and some games.
There are many hiking trails around the cottage.
Walks on Mondays at 3 km in Chaunay and Tuesday, Friday in Civray.
Possibility to buy organic products from surrounding farms.

Amateurs d'intimité,de sécurité, de propreté, fuyez!
Voici un résumé de nos 3 semaines de location dans ce gîte : - Extérieur dangereux - Jardin partagé avec 2 autres locations, des tentes dans le jardin et des chiens de garde - Omniprésence de la propriétaire - Saleté - Équipement vétuste - Contrairement à ce que nous a affirmé la propriétaire, le jardin n'est pas du tout privatif, il est commun à 3 locations ! Avec les locataires à l'année de la maison attenante, par chance très gentils,et les locataires du gîte mitoyen, dans notre cas 6 agents de sécurité, avec leurs chiens qui passaient la journée dans le jardin,dont les camionnettes, et les tentes ont occupé une grosse partie du jardin. Et la propriétaire vient presque tous les jours plusieurs heures, malgré nos plaintes, entretenir son jardin, parfois à nos pieds pendant qu'on mange, et y roule beaucoup trop vite ! -L'arbre magnifique dans le jardin est mort, la propriétaire espére qu'il tombe lors d'un coup de vent pour que les dégâts soient pris en charge par son assurance. - Equipement vétuste ( cafetière qui fuit, prises qui ne fonctionnent pas, chaises rafistolées...) et sale ( casseroles moisies, joints de douches aussi...) - Les poubelles, communes à tous, et ramassées 1 fois par mois, grouillent de vers - Elle nous a demandé de lui redonner de l'argent car 2 amis nous ont rejoint 4 jours ( en plus de la taxe de séjour que nous avions prévu de payer en conséquence) alors que nous ne dépassions pas la capacité maximale. - ésue ,st venue tous les jours,
