When we checked @3:00 am Dimitri was amazing and helped us with everything the next day Elena at the desk helped us with taxis and dining options and directions canā€™t say enough about the staff and rooms also they have parking on the property unlike other hotels .

This is a great hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good. Beds was comfortable and staff friendly. Please note that if you have a car then there is some parking underground. However, the ramp down is very narrow and has a slight jog you have to negotiate. The parking spaces are quite small and there is limited turnaround space. Do not park underground unless you have a small car.

Staff were very friendly - a special shoutout to Peter who was so accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, a short walk to the chania town and such a perfectly quiet spot in the evenings. It was beautiful and clean!

The staff and service is top notch and they are really kind! The room itself was clean and the bed was nice. My favorite part about this hotel is their complimentary breakfast that is seriously out of this world ā€” fresh cooked eggs (real eggs!), their version of sausage and bacon, fresh fruit, fresh juice, lots of bread options, and unique local Cretan/Greek options. Iā€™m not kidding, the breakfast alone was worth it all.

Avra hotel is the best.
Lovely, clean hotel. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and beautifully appointed amenities. Staff were excellent, very friendly and so professional. Helped in every way they could. Went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Location was excellent and close to all sights and shopping in Chania. Added bonus was underground parking station. Great stay - wish we'd had longer!
We only stayed one night - as a stop after a late flight and before heading off to a further destination - but it was a great stay. Really friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable, spacious room with lovely bathroom, and the bonus of free on-sight parking. The hotel is very near the old town sights and restaurants, so really handy whether a short visit or longer stay.
