We were staying at the Hampton Inn Uptown because it was close to a meeting I had at Sixty Vines. We had two issues with the room. There was a strong smell that was either paint or glue. When we called the front desk she said there was some renovations two days ago. We asked for a fan but she said there wasn’t one. Also, we were beside the clean up room and there was a scrubbing and knocking noise all night that kept us awake.

I really enjoyed my stay here and the service on getting me checked into my room as soon as possible when I was exhausted from my red eye flight. I appreciate how hard they worked in getting me into my room instead of making me wait until the usual check in time despite how busy they were. Great hotel! Good breakfast, kind staff. The button to control the blinds were not intuitive, so we figured out the blackout curtains on check out day. Convenient walking distance to most of uptown (spectrum center, convention center, Bank of America stadium).

Great hotel!
Overall great experience. The only complaint ia thebhotel shares parking with an adjorning hotel via parking garage which is super tight for larger, bulkier vehicles. They ran out of parking after we returned from a football game however the front desk and security officer got us parked wuickly after being alerted. The room and bathroom were both clean. The bed and pillows were also comfy. Front desk staff were polite, attentive and engaging. We will definitely come back!

Easy walk to the Bank of America stadium. Hotel has a parking garage with a fee connected to the property. Hallways needed to be vacuumed. Room was comfortable. Some parts were a little worn while others parts were updated. In uptown Charlotte.
