Checked in at approximately 4pm on Saturday, 6/01/24. I had paid for a King size bedroom and added my 2 dogs in the filter and in the special instructions. When checking in I was given a key for a 2 full bedroom. I went back and asked and was advised the manager reviews the online registrations and reassigns anyone traveling with pets to full bedrooms because pets aren't allowed into King size rooms. They didn't apologize, this is their policy and apparently, don't notify guests when they do this. I wasn't notified. The room was a bit musty, I'm guessing due to having carpets in pet friendly rooms. The hotel and the room cleanliness was ok, not super clean, but not filthy. The room had working TV, microwave, refrigerator with small freezer shelf, and lighting. They have recently painted an avocado green accent wall in the room and bathroom, but the other walls could use paint. The bed and pillows are very comfy and the sheets and linens were plentiful and clean except the bedspread was permanently stained in spots. The shower and bathroom were clean. After turning the AC to high the mustiness was not as noticeable. All in all it was a good stay. If they had given me advance notice of the room change from king to full, I would've rated it higher. However, they did only charge me for one pet.
