Apartment overlooking Lac du Vonnes Chatel, Porte du Soleil - fantastic location

Our family apartment is in a brilliant location for both skiing in the season and enjoying the pretty Lac du Vonnes it overlooks in the summer
The apartment is larger than a standard one bedroom apartment in the block as it was originally built as a two bedroom apartment.
The new Vonnes lifts are 200mts away! These lifts will give you access to either gateways to the Porte Du Soleil
It is a short walk to the pretty, unspoilt village of Chatel with numerous bars and restaurants offering an excellent selection of both traditional and modern cuisine.
As a family we have enjoyed the fantastic skiing throughout the Portes du Soleil (the largest skiing region in Europe) and in the summer it has given us opportunities to discover everything from visiting goats villages and rafting to the more traditional walking and cycling activities that are amazing throughout the area.
There is also a great swimming pool / Spa in the village with a free local bus that travels around the Chatel/Linga / Pre- La -Joux area.

We have a fairly spacious double bedroom with a wardrobe - double duvet and pillows included
There are two fold down bunk beds in the hall area (very typical in French apartments) each with single duvet and pillow

The kitchen / lounge area is really cosy and is newly refurbished.
It is fully equipped with everything you are likely to need for your stay.

There is a HDMI lead currently attached to the DVD player that can be used to stream any programs from your devices.

The large sunny wrap around terrace with table and chairs has a magnificent view of the mountains - lovely to watch the sun eventually disappear with a glass of something!
As it is our family apartment we would only be happy to accommodate couples and families of four. There is a children playground around the lake.

Fabulous location for skiing
Great location close to Porte du Soleil lift, which made it easy to access the whole ski area. Cosy apartment that served us well. We were a party of two friends. Once of us used the bedroom and the other the bunkbed, which was very comfortable. It was a 15 minute brisk walk into town in the evening to access all that this fabulous resort has to offer by way of excellent bars and restaurants. We loved it and will return.

L'immeuble dans lequel se situe l'appartement est au bord du lac de Vonne une partie de Châtel éloignée de la route principale et préservé de la multitude de constructions qui envahissent la vallée. En rez-de-jardin, l'appartement dispose d'une terrasse très grande ensoleillée de 11h au coucher du soleil. Equipement très correct (un vrai four !!). On peut regretter l'absence d'un lave-vaisselle.

Un superbe séjour dans un décors de rêve
Bel appartement au premier étage, dans un superbe "écrin" tout était OK pour nous (2 personnes) Déborah est très réactive et agréable aussi bien avant la location que pendant. (juste une petite remarque à faire : Il manque une cafetière électrique ainsi qu'un grille pains pour le petit déjeuner) mais sinon ne changez rien, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Châtel, l'appartement est propre, agréable et bien équipé, avec des remontées mécaniques à 150m, un grand parking devant la résidence et une grande terrasse pour profiter du soleil. Déborah nous a répondu rapidement à chaque question, et la procédure d'arrivée est très pratique.
