I found this property perfectly adequate and affordable. The only small issue that I had was in the morning, while taking a shower, only hot water would come out at first. I don't know if they were filling the laundry with cold water or what, but it did eventually settle down to a tolerable level. Otherwise, I had a good experience at Athena Inn.

Loved staying here.
It was a great place to stay! The breakfast is small and simple. Things to grab and go and cereal. But very nice to have and always well stocked. The staff is very nice and 💯 on top of things and making sure your stay is perfect. And the shower is amazing and has plenty of hot water! Very happy with my choice to book here!

The room was clean and the shower worked fine. The beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was OK. For some reason (dish problems, perhaps) the TV would not work at times--especially during the day. The desk clerk would get it back on, but it would soon go off again. The motel is located in a pretty rough neighborhood. Lots of homeless street people lurking about. I don't know what was going on in an adjacent parking lot...

I made reservations and didn't know you had to have $100 deposit until after I paid for the room unfortunate for me because I did not have $100 for a deposit 😔 because of personal reasons I have a love one who has fallen on had times and is homeless and the only money he had he spent booking a reservation
