The upgrade didn’t seem that much better than what I booked. We appreciated the valet parking and discount for being a VIP member. Staff was very polite and friendly.

It was a short walk to Fenway Park where we saw a few games. We also used the valet parking to store our vehicle until we checked out, which was convenient since we needed a vehicle for the rest of our trip. Also, there is a nice restaurant next to the hotel. The staff was amazing. We had room service dinner the afternoon we arrived.

The staff was amazing. So helpful so on top of everything. What we were disappointed in and one of the reasons we picked the Hotel Commonwealth was the the deck/patio access but because there was a wedding we were not allowed to access the deck. Very disappointing. I would have chosen another hotel if we were aware.

OK but rather disappointing for the price
Nice decor and fairly comfortable room but a few caveats: Fenway rooms should be renamed Freeway rooms as they are on the freeway side of the property and consequently rather noisy. My room had no coffee maker but it did have a strange smell. Lastly, there was no on-property restaurant offering breakfast but there are places 10-20 mins walk away that do.

The hotel was fantastic and in a great location right next door to the train line. Staff were incredible and offered us water and snacks on arrival as well as toys and activity books for our children. We were able to check in early and upgraded upon arrival. We dined at 2 of the on site restaurants which were both delicious. Overall, a great stay.

The service was top notch, and the staff is the best! All questions answered and needs taken care of quickly. The location was perfect for me and my planned activities for this trip. I loved the convenience of great food in and around the hotel.
