Elegant hotel and grounds. Our room was beautifully appointed, and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were outstanding. Worth the travel time and expense for a special trip.

Peaceful place. Only comment would be not to overrun the hotel with dogs. I have a dog and love dogs but I don’t like staying in hotel rooms that have had dogs at an and next to rooms with dogs. Some dog owners are not that disciplined. The staff at hotel are all wonderful and it’s a very nice tranquil place. Good food and wonderful countryside

The Hotel was nice and mostvof the staff were friendly. However the service in the restaurant was not so good. My meal was fine but my wife's chicken wasn't. When we mentioned it to the waiter his response was, " well it's corn fed" and then walked off. Also the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should've been for a 5 star Hotel. I don't think we will be returning.

It is a lovely hotel. Some of the decor is slightly dated and the food in the restaurant is very average for the price point. It appears to cater to mass US tourism which means some of the Cotswolds charm is lost. However the staff are lovely and super helpful, the hotel is clean and well looked after and the grounds are stunning and we felt very welcome with our dogs

This proposal outstanding for couples that want a romantic, quiet evening in nature! The gardens are quite lovely with a variety of species, the meal in the main dining room was top notch & delicious!! You cannot go working staying here! And the shower was AMAZING!
