Not good value for money for
It was a bad weekend weather wise and the hotel lobby and bar was cold. Rooms were ok with a comfy bed . Dining room food was poor. Hard flatbread and oven chips.

Nice hotel, useful location
Nice hotel in a good location for driving to Chester or Chesire Oaks. Hotel staff are friendly. Hotel could do with upgrading, a little dated. Didnt get a chance tocuse any of the facilities, but breakfast was good with a wide variety of choice.

The Hotel was fine but little things let it down. The first night they had a problem for hours with the till at the bar, resulting in long waits to purchase any hot or cold drinks or bar food or snacks. One night we dined in the restaurant and although only 7:30pm they had sold out of so many items on the menu we wished we had gone out for food. Three times the poor waitress had to come back to our table to apologise and ask us to change our order. For the price and star rating of the hotel I expected better.

Staff were very good. Food was excellent. The initial room I was given was good but I had a problem with the toilet when it refused to flush part way through the stay. I was therefore moved to another room. Unfortunately, this also had a problem with the toilet as it filled very slowly, so after flushing would drip noisily for about 10 minutes which was annoying. Also the radiator in the second warm was only warm meaning the room itself was chilly.

Good spacious room (standard) and all very clean. Friendly staff at checkin. Bit noisy with creaky floorboards above! Great location virtually next to Chester park and ride.

Perfect for overnight stay for Christmas markets
Lovely overnight stay with a friend to visit Chester Christmas markets. Great location and easy to find. Free parking was perfect as we caught the bus into Chester.

Small Niggle
Check in was good and hotel staff all very friendly and helpful. Only slight negative for me is that I suffer from allergies - (dogs) and presume the room is one which allows dogs but even though the room was clean the I did suffer all night and into the next day.
