Welcome to our lodge that was updated recently in 2022. The Lodge is located on a small-holding with horses, donkeys and a friendly dog, but is only one and a half miles from Chester city centre. This well decorated lodge sleeps up to 6 people, with 2 double beds and an additional sofa bed. It has a lovely bright open living space and great outdoor decking and also allows you to bring your dog. We are on the North Wales side of Chester so very convenient for all the North Wales attractions. The Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

To the left of the Lodge is open plan. There is a modern kitchen with all amenities, a dining table seating 6, a comfortable sofa (which is also a sofa bed) and smart TV.

There are 2 good sized bedrooms with a double bed in each. The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower and there is a separate bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

There is a lovely decked area around the front and side of the lodge with seating.

We ask guests not to go in the fields that have horses in them and not to allow children into the stable area unaccompanied.

Access is via Lock box.

There is enough parking for 2/3 cars.

We live next-door and if we are about, we know the area well so can give plenty of advice if needed.
For any other issues, we have a husband and wife team, Tom and Rachael who manage things locally.

We are down a long drive away from the road but walking distance to park and ride into Chester. Good base for N Wales and you can be on Anglesey in 1hr. Also the Wirral, Liverpool and Manchester all well under an hour journey time .

Parking is very easy next to the caravan. 5mins by car to Chester or 30min walk. Also park and ride nearby.

Please note that there is an extra charge if you want to use the sofa bed as we would need to provide extra linen. Requests to use the sofa bed must be made the time of booking.

We have travel cots and high-chairs available (free of charge but subject to availability). No linen is provided for the travel cot. They are not kept on site, so please advise us in advance if you need these for your visit so that we can endeavour to ensure they are provided in time for your arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute requests for these items.

A dog is welcome at an additional fee of £30 to cover extra cleaning. Please message in advance to advise that you are bringing your dog. If you have a second dog please let us know and this will be considered. Please kindly consider the following rules if bringing your dog;

-Dogs must be well behaved and house trained.
-Dogs must be kept strictly downstairs & off the soft furnishings.
-Any fouling on premises must be cleared up without delay.
-Muddy paws should be cleaned before entering the house.
-Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
We have a zero tolerance policy regarding abuse (verbal or physical) or generally antisocial behaviour by guests to our representatives, staff and our neighbours.
Any violation of the house rules will forfeit the guest the right to leave a public review.

A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. Conveniences include a microwave and a sofa bed.
