No security box so have to take valuables everywhere. Staff alter aircon settings while you are out of the room. Pool area is very slippery when wet. Location good and otherwise hotel is fine.

Disappointed..
We stayed at this property last year and it was spotless staff was extremely friendly, however this year we were not too impressed, the place was a bit run down, the bathroom has mold in the grout and around the bottom of the shower, the bed was a bit squeaky the staff was nice but not as friendly as last year, the reason we chose this hotel was because the experience that we had, we will not be using this property again. There are many places to choose from in Chiangmai!!

Pleasant stay at Villa de Chiang Mai
Very nice and beautiful hotel. Bed was comfortable and the staff is always smiley and helpful. Provides laundry service at a small fee. Only bad thing is they gave me a double bed room and a twin bed room though I booked 2 twin bed rooms. You are not allowed to hang your clothes at the balcony too. Would still recommend to friends.

Perfectly located for access to old city and located in the heart of real everyday living. Area is active and safe as far as I could tell. Limited services and amenities but very friendly. Bedding was a little below expectation but overall it was exactly what we wanted

The staff were amazing and that was the reason we stayed for whole time we were booked. The resort is in need of some TLC. I can definitely see where it was a beautiful resort at one time. Like I said the staff were amazing and very accommodating to get us back and forth to the town however it is quiet and remote and we would have probably enjoyed the city of Luang Prabang more if we weren’t concerned about the timing of the back and forth of the ferry and the van driver which I will say again they were very kind and accommodating

Nice little hotel in the old city
My grand daughter and I stayed 7 nights at the Villa de Chiang Mai hotel and enjoyed our stay there. It is a small hotel, but very clean safe. The office staff was pleasant and professional and did what they could to make our stay enjoyable. The location is great- right in t he heart of the old city, near restaurants and markets.It is not extremely fancy, but the price is right and t he location is perfect.

Quiet and clean boutique style hotel.
Quiet hotel not far from main road. Easy walk to night bazaar or old city. Very clean. Helpful and polite staff. No restaurant in hotel however good eating places from breakfast to dinner close by. I would happily stay again if visiting Chiang Mai.

My only suggestion would be to make sure that it is clear on your website that breakfast is NOT included. This was misunderstood and was a significant added expense to our group. Otherwise we were very pleased all the way around. Wondering why the pool closes so early. Our group mentioned how hard the beds are. But I think that is a Thailand thing, probably not just your hotel. Thank you for a great experience
