At check-in, we were greeted by Patricia, who exhibited AMAZING customer service. We dropped off our belongings in our room and left to spend time with family. When we returned after midnight, we found that the heat in our room was not working. I notified the front desk, and we were promptly moved to another room on the same floor, which was super convenient.
The next morning, we were out all day and returned at night to find that our key cards did not work in the door. I went down to the front desk, and Patricia was working again. She noticed that while we received key cards for the new room, the employee who assisted us the night before did not change our room in the system, leading hotel staff to re-key the room, as it appeared in the system that it was vacant.
Patricia worked expeditiously to get the issue resolved by changing our room reservation in the system and providing us with new key cards. Even though the error was not hers, she kept a smile on her face and a good attitude while she worked through the process.
This is exactly the type of service that will keep us coming back to this location in Downer's Grove. There are several hotels in the area that we could choose from. But interactions like this will always bring us back.
