Hotel was conveniently located, short walk to Magnificent Mile. Hotel bar was great. Checking in was quick and easy. Shame about the room though. The bathroom was clean enough, thank goodness, but can't say the same for the rest of the room. Horrendous amound of accumulated dust. Gross stains on the bedclothes and the curtain. Someone's hair was on the pillows and bedclothes, as well as the desk. The carpet clearly had not been vacuumed. The kleenex box next to the bed looked as if someone had pulled out a bunch of the kleenex and then tried shoving it back in. For someone who appreciates cleanliness, it wasn't as comfortable a stay as I would have liked.

I love great group of people who worked this hotel plus good clean bathroom which has plenty of hot water immediately. There were however a few not so good experiences -- room was too dark to see (opened the curtain/drape was not an option as we lost our privacy 100%), AC had temperamental behavior, bed-mattress was too soft to cramp my both calf during midnight, there was neither refrigerator nor microwave -- not even kettle to boil water, even a double room had only one chair, two elevator to cover the entire 17 stories building took time to call, and there was no hotel name on the entrance door/wall for the first timer. Overall, as the hotel was aiming toward to have a rustic feature, it did not work for me as the facility does old anyway.

I thought this hotel was awesome, less expensive while still being in the middle of all the best parts of town. Staff was super friendly and just overall soooo accommodating! We got to town earlier than expected and they let us check in early, which saved an entire day of our trip from exhaustion(we got up at 4am and had a late night ahead of us, so the nap was needed). The vibe is really cool with lots of updated aesthetic. Bar / restaurant has great food, and every guest gets a free specialty cocktail. I would absolutely stay here again!

It was meh.
Staff was super friendly! Easy check in and check out. Room was meh. Pictures looked better than the real deal. Upon entering, the room walls were dirty and had pencil markings all over. Ac didn’t work ( Chicago had weird warm weather for the season ). Room with a view was nothing special. City scape was nice, the parking garage next to the window was not. Car alarms at 2am were not pleasant. Bed was comfy. Sheets were a bit dirty. Bathroom was tiny and the shower head was gummed up with grime. I wanted to save money, but I should have spent the extra to stay elsewhere.

It was dirty the lights in our room were so dusty looks like never cleaned. You could hear into the other rooms and every noise. Floors not swept. It’s October and the heat was on and you couldn’t use air conditioner they turn them off so it was sweating hot and the fan they provide was a mini fan didn’t do anything

Local parece sujo. Quando cheguei não tinha sabonete para as mãos e encontrei sujeira e poeira pelo quarto e na cama. Dividi o quarto com uma mulher que "morava" lá, não me senti confortável ou há vontade em nenhum momento. Local não me passou segurança nenhum, nem dentro, nem na vizinhança
