Budget hotel in a historic property
The staff was great and it was clean and comfortable. They also make it easy to leave bags at the hotel on check-out day to pick up later. The breakfast was good (typical for Hampton Inns) but the area is small which made it hard on the very busy weekend we experienced. Worse was the fact that the elevators are slow and small -- problematic for a 21 story hotel. The property could definitely use a facelift, too. So considering all the options in downtown Chicago, I would have preferred to pay a little more for a nicer place. Again, the staff is great but know what you're getting.

Location, location, location -- that and free breakfasts! The only problem, which was minor, was that the bathroom sink's faucet leaked a little. Other than that, we were able to walk to the Art Institute of Chicago and found some nice, if pricey, restaurants in the area.

Awesome to have stayed in a beautiful historic building, security system in place was awesome, staff was amazingly friendly and kind, informative and helpful. Your breakfast was fantastic!! Full of many options and plenty of great food. Staff filled everything as needed! Thank you The only issue i had was with the app and being able to check out, i had to call from the road.
