Evanston Oasis!

Nice facility, modern and clean rooms, and friendly, professional staff. Great location as well! Very nice restaurant to boot!

Stay was absolutely average, which would have been fine, but I was completely annoyed by the charge for the parking in the run down, unlit parking deck. It was $18 for the night, which is much less than in a large city location but ridiculous for a suburban hotel, especially for a garage that appeared to be falling apart and had no lighting at night.

Staff at the front desk was awesome. Stayed two nights but didn’t get our room cleaned. Had to request two new towels. Booked city view which you could hear the train. It didn’t wake us up. It was still a nice stay. We would go back.

The room was a room. Although when i pulled back the shower curtain there was a used, dried up wash cloth from a previous renter. Then being bored i started to look around there are some sorta skid markes in tub. Skid marks on the bathroom wall. Cob webs n extrime floor dust and dirt around every baseboard. There were cheese it cracker crumbs on floor, No, i have not eaten any they were not cleaned up. I know Holiday Inn prides their self on cleanliness, but site manager needs to do pop up expections, to regulate.

The need better sofa beds.

We reserved 2 queens months in advance and got a king with pull out sofa. The sofa bed was too small for 2 adults and the mattress too thin (laying on the crossbar not great).

From the moment we were greeted by the front desk until we said goodbye at check out staff were very welcoming, nice, and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable Only stayed one night but definitely would stay again.
