This hotel is terribly inconvenient. They will bring nothing to the room. They won’t let deliveries come to the room. The front desk is on one side of the building and the rooms are on the other. I will not stay here again. Especially at 95$ a night

heat doesn't turn down and smells of cigarettes
stairways smelled like smoke. we went in the back way at night but the door handle at the top of the stairs was broken off. we managed to get in by pulling very slowly the nob that remained (luckily, because it was freezing outside and we didn't want to have to walk all the way around). we smelled hints of cigarette in the bathroom. our room was very small and cramped. seemed like the old section. decorations were weirdly placed. it felt more like a side of the highway independent hotel then a holiday inn. the hallway was about 95 degrees and our room heat wouldn't go below 83! we lowered it but it just went back to 83 while we slept, which we barely did between the uncomfortable beds and the heat. blankets and pillows were nice. bathroom was pretty good and everything was very clean. just hot, cramped, and smelled of cigarette.

Very bad experience
The bed was broken and squeaked a lot. The room was not fit for 4 adults . We paid the price for 4 adults .. The room was for 2 people max. The breakfast policy is petty .. we paid for 4 and they allowed 2 adults for BF .. what is the other two supposed to do. How much breakfast can 2 guests eat?

On northern outskirts of Chicago, this hotel was clean. Certain areas showed the hotels age, with chips in the walls, places where you could see the railing broke or fell off and was replaced a few inches down from the last spot, molding that didnt quite match in a few areas. All things that didnt really matter. The sheets were clean, the beds were comfortable, the fridge was cold, the toilet flushed. The only "problem" i ran into was there was no channel guide for the tv so i was just blindly going through the channels. But i didnt get the hotel to sit around and watch tv. If the goal is to have a quiet secure comfortable nights rest then this hotel fits the bill
