The hotel staff were so welcoming to our dogs, and greeted them with a bag of treats. Kids were also welcome. The rooms were meticulously clean and comfortable. Wag hotel is one-mile down the street and offers exceptional dog day care. Our only frustration was parking, which was $100 per night. We suggest booking parking online at the 201 Madison parking garage (2 blocks from hotel).

Excellent hotel. Especially liked the happy hour with free spiced/spiked cider and wine and the comfortable areas where families/groups can gather for a drink and conversation. My room was great but had lots of trouble regulating the water temperature in the shower, and my toilet clogged very easily.

We chose this hotel for its location and it looked like a beautiful hotel online - we were not disappointed! Walked everywhere we wanted to go (except for the Lincoln park zoo) and had a great time. The establishment was clean, beautiful, and the staff was great. Will definitely be returning!

A nice bit of luxury in the Loop
We love this iconic location. Rooms are fairly spacious and beds and linens are very comfortable. Nice cocktails served at the Bolero bar upstairs.

Location was business district. Not far from shopping area . Lift/uber less than 2 minutes available. Valet parking was very nice and very helpful, friendly and fast . Beds are comfortable,showers are nice .

Staff was responsive to requests, which I appreciate. But when we arrived all of the towels in the room were tattered on the ends and one of the robes was very tattered and had stains on it (a bit off putting). Wish there were other options that just the fruit water in the building, either some sort of fountain or complimentary water bottles as going to the lobby isn't the most convenient option. Didn't love the black carpet in the rooms as I feel that that can hide alot of dirt.

Kimpton was acquired in 2014 and it hasn’t been the same. This location is okay but the furniture in the room was broken and not up to date. I was disappointed. It’s not a bad stay but it’s not what I was expecting.
