I as a woman didn't feel safe, the door locks didn't lock properly, anyone could enter my room, we had to put a suitcase and a chair at the door to really feel safer, the shower was dirty, the male employee who stays at the reception at night was rude and wasn't interested in really helping the guest. They ask for shorts when paying but in the application there is no information about this detail.

For the record, this is exactly what we expected for a Motel 6 stay. It was inexpensive and not fancy. That said, I was overall happy with our stay. Our rooms were dirty, but not in the "they haven't cleaned in a while" way, but more in the "they haven't cleaned WELL in a while." There was clearly dirt/grime on the walls and baseboards, but the sheets were clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. The shower is a tiny capsule shower, so if you are a tall/large human this would probably not work for you. People may suggest the area is unsafe. We didn't have any problems and no one bothered us while we were there. However our door in our room said "lock this when you are inside for your protection" which is a little scary.

I was not checked it because I was told that I as too many questions. I was requesting upper floor but the lady at the front desk didn’t give me. She wanted to give me a room on a far corner, which didn’t feel safe (just a weird feeling) when I asked for a different one (many were open) she refused. …I cancelled the reservation but went to my car prayed about it… I humbled myself and said that I can take the room that she offered, she changed the mind and said she didn’t want me to stay there. Well, I was respectful, didn’t disrespect her in any way. But oh well… I’m glad that I left. Better place God had for me that night.

Good overall, a little complicated to get to. We didn’t get the room we booked, but the substitution was okay. The microwave didn’t work properly and the shower wasn't very powerful, but otherwise it was okay. The price was good and we were out most of the day anyway.

Location was the best asset! Room availability is also good. Don’t wash your clothes there! My AC outlet caught fire, no heat 9 degrees out. They changed my room, dirty bedspread on the first bed, pet hair and human hair on the sheets of the 2nd bed, shower is way too small for an average person, shower water pressure is terrible! Doors either stick and won’t open or won’t close! Not all rooms have a fridge/microwave, not all rooms have a tub!
