The hotel was beautiful and very accessible for a one night stay. However, when I first arrived staff at the front desk were sort of rude. I had just finished driving two hours and when I asked where I was supposed to part, the attendant at the desk blurted out a street and instructions so quickly, I had to ask her to slow down and explain it to me because I’m not from the area. Ultimately, I believe we parked in the wrong garage and had to walk a block and a half with our bags but other than that. It was a nice hotel.

Staff was very rude and inconvenient ( Franklin and the Supervisor ) , the room was decent enough for the price but the water pressure was so low , not many amenities . Located right in the middle of downtown the outside area was a good view . This hotel was super shady , after I already paid upon arrival the staff and their supervisor tried to charge me again DOUBLE after checkout . Wouldn’t recommend

Comfortable stay during Halloween weekend
Came to Chicago to show my partner around where I used to live and wanted to be settled in a good area for a moderate price and luckily found The Whitehall; what an amazing bang for your buck in such a desirable neighborhood and to top it off the hotel room was very nice and incredibly comfortable. The staff was very nice at the front desk and incredible helpful. Me and my partner were very happy with the accomodations and after a long day of sightseeing couldn't wait to relax and unwind in the comfort of our room. Would definitely book again at The Whitehall in the future.

Very good location for people visiting NW Memorial Hospital like me. The building is aging and the lobby is very sparse.

Location is perfect for the price. It’s near the upscale side where all the high end restaurants and retailers are. And you can walk to a lot of places nearby. The hotel itself is outdated and lacked basic amenities and the shower pressure was not good.
