Great Villa
As everyone says what makes staying here is Sa. She takes care of your every need from cooking fabulous meals, helping with transportation, reservations, and keeping the villa clean. Our teens loved just hanging out at the pool. It’s like having a private resort. It’s a fairly easy walk to Surun Beach but not walkable to the sandy part of Bang Tao. The owner responds to questions quickly.

The Lanterns villa located on the west coast of Phuket has recieved many positive reviews before, deservedly so. What really makes this property standout from all the rest is the wonderful housekeeper Khun-Sa. It's been stated many times before but she just makes the stay all the more special and we can't thank her enough. Not much more I can add to this review other than to say that if you've booked (or are about to book) have a fabulous time, we certainly did.

I write this review with a selfish reluctance that it will make this dream property even more difficult to book in the future, yet with a string sense of obligation to the owners and host!The property is everything it promises to be and more! Pictures do not do it justice. It is immaculately maintained in like new condition as are all of the furniture and fittings. It is well stocked with towels and all necessary toiletries and amenities. Communication with the owner is exemplary and any issues are handled immediately to complete satisfaction.That said there is one thing that must not be neglected in this review. The property itself is not even close to being the star of the show! Houskeeper, Chef, Tour Guide, Shopper, and Butler Sa is a joyful spirit, with a can-do attitude who anticipates needs before they exist! In 45 years of 5 Star worldwide travel my family and I have never encountered such a TREASURE! Sa is a loving heart, with a radiant smile, who finds great joy in pleasing. She made our entire stay relaxing, stress free, and kept us organized, on schedule, and very well fed!!We can't wait to return....

What a gem
We stayed at this villa for a week, and it was absolutely fabulous. Khun sa who is the housekeeper is absolutely AMAZING. She was able to help get a scooter set up as well as many excursions and adventures during our stay. Would highly recommend.

We went for the villa but got so much more
First timers in thailand. We had no clue how to navigate our trip even with all of our preparation. It was intimidating. Khun Sa to the rescue!! She took such good care of us everything from setting up a ride to 7 eleven, booking tours, cooking the most amazing meals, or just making us laugh. The villa is beautiful, Khun Sa is perfect!

Absolutely perfect. House manager Sa is an angel, who could not possibly have done any more from booking many events to organising in-house massages for our family. The property is exactly as advertised, peaceful, spacious and lovely. Only thing is a 15 min walk to the beach.

Fantastic Getaway at this fabulous villa!
We had a wonderful time at this vacation villa! The property is gorgeous and extremely comfortable, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The property is as advertised. Very clean and plenty of room for 3 couples. The pool is spectacular and the grounds surrounding it are impeccable, especially at night Feels like a high end resort. And of course, SA is the star The food she prepares is top notch and authentic Thai She shopped for our food, prepared it, cleaned up for a great price and convenience Everyone tried to talk her to coming home with them. I would never stay anywhere in Phuket!
We had the most incredible trip that we could have NEVER pulled off without Khun Sa, the housekeeper. The house is beautiful and close to great beaches. Khun Sa helped us with every detail of getting around, she is an amazing cook and we preferred to eat at home 3 out of 4 nights, and we felt so well taken care of the whole time! None of us wanted to leave!

Khun Sa makes the stay magical
Our second time staying at the villa. Property is lovely, but what makes the stay magical is Khun Sa, the fantastic and charming property host, caretaker and cook. Both stays she was the number one reason for our total enjoyment. She is delightful and the most incredible cook. We had her make most of our meals (4 people) and everything was delicious. The property is as lovely as always and convenient to two beaches.

A great stay, and probably one of the best houses we’ve stayed in so far. What made our stay really special was the help and assistance of Khun Sa over the week, who was the highlight of our time in Thailand and so incredibly kind and accommodating! Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay, the villa is luxurious, meticulously maintained with modern amenities. The highlight of the trip was the wonderful service from our host, Khun Sa. Very nice villa
Its a great villa! 15 minute walk to Surin Beach which is very nice. The pool is great, the rooms are very comfortable, and we were pleased with the experience. The location is about 30 minutes from Patong Beach, which is probably a good thing (not impressed, but you probably need to see it once) and a few more minutes to Kata beach which was great. The star of the show is Sa, who serves as the housekeeper, chef (if you want) launderer, tour guide, taxi scheduler and all around wonderful lady! If you rent this villa, be sure to let her help you. Fiona was also wonderful in booking the villa and preparing for our stay.

Best Trip Ever
We had such an amazing time at the Villa. Really, Sa, the housekeeper is what made our trip so fabulous. From helping us book excursions, taxis, and ordering groceries. She also helped us book in Villa massages and made some amazing meals for us while we were there. The pool was awesome and having Sa there made us feel like celebrities. This was my families first international trip, and it was amazing. Please stay here and I promise you will have the best vacation. You won’t get a stay or a Sa at any hotel like you get at the villa.

Magnificent stay in Surin Beach
Dear Fiona and Sa, I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful stay we had in Phuket, Thailand. Our hostess, Sa, was simply impeccable and made our stay truly unforgettable. Sa's meals were authentic and wholesome, and she catered to our vegetarian guests with ease. She made breakfast, lunch, and dinner when needed, and her cooking was simply delicious. Sa also went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, including washing our clothes, making arrangements for tours and transportation, and even arranging for massages, manicures, and pedicures at the Villa. The property itself was beautiful, with clean pools and first-class rooms and bathrooms. Sa made sure everything was spotless and comfortable for us. She even arranged for Ram who is the tailor to come to the Villa and fit us all for clothes, making our stay that much more special. Overall, our holiday was everything we could have hoped for, and we have Sa to thank for that. Her customer service was outstanding, and it truly felt like we were at home. Best Villa Ever - 6 star service
My friends and I stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. Having arrived early, we were allowed to check in as soon as we arrived. Airport pick up was also arranged by the owner/housekeeper of the villa. We hired the same driver to take us wherever we needed to go to during our stay. The villa is about 20 mins from Patong but there are restaurants and small shops about a 10 minute walk away. Special thanks to Sa, the villa’s amazing housekeeper who made our stay extra special. She was extremely observant of our tastes and preferences. A phenomenal cook, Sa prepared breakfast for us daily and also cooked a scrumptious dinner one evening that left all of us speechless. It was so delicious. She was always so happy to see us and did everything she could to make our stay extremely comfortable (and always with a huge smile!) The layout of the villa was perfect for our party of 3 and the rooms were nicely decorated. We already miss the villa and Sa and can’t wait to go back!
