The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Christchurch where it's very easy to walk to retailers and bars and restaurants. Very walker friendly. The staff couldn't be more helpdul and accommodating. Lovely place to stay. The Botanical.gardens is a must.see, and there are a row of excellent restaurants in between that and the hotel, most with patio seating.
