We arrived at reception early and were warmly welcomed by the receptionist Brianna. She was friendly and efficient and a great front of house for the hotel. The hotel itself is quirky , modern and colourful but full of character. Our room although small had everything necessary. The bed was so comfortable. Very good value for money as well .

The staff were very welcoming. The hotel is ideally placed to explore Christchurch. The tram stop (1) is right outside the door. Rooms were great, comfy beds. Well decorated. Only a couple of things to comment on: No complimentary water which is unusual and access to the shower in the bathroom I had would have been a very tight squeeze for someone a couple of sizes bigger than me!! I got a cute small room for a one night stay in Christchurch. The hotel is centrally located, so if you’re a tourist or want lots of food options this is a great place to stay. You can even access the gym and pool at the Heritage hotel next door, which was so great!

Great location, nice comfortable room and lovely staff. With the weather being very hot it was disappointing not having aircon. The staff accommodated us with a fan to use, but was too noisy to leave on through the night. Everything else was great and would stay again!

It was a nice hotel, location was great. Staff lovely. Room was nice and clean, Not the fault of 5e hotel at all but unfortunately there were renovations next door which went on until 10.30 pm and the smell of chemicals was awful. Not the fault of the hotel but maybe check these are all finished before going.
