Beautiful hotel with nice rooms. Not right in the centre of town, but a quick walk (less than 10 min) to all the main sights. Lovely courtyard in the centre.
The room was very clean, newly decorated with comfy bed and large bathroom. Inclusion of a heat pump was great. Double glazing meant the room was very quiet. Kitchenette had everything you needed. Fridge wasn't very cold and there was no way to adjust but it was adequate unless you want really cold beer/wine.
Now the bad. Didn't like the fact that we paid through Expedia with a credit card but when we got to reception they said the card had declined (it hadn't - we used the same card at reception) They then tried to add a credit card usage surcharge of nearly $15 (that's two beers). This is a very dodgy practice. If they try it on you - refuse to pay the surcharge!! You paid through Expedia that should be an end to it.
Covid Level 4 lockdown prevented this trip from going ahead, so I will need to wait until after lockdown to stay!

Great service. Great staff member, really appreciate that, and thsnks for asssisting easy car park and ease of stay. What was weird - lingering sewerage smell on path area in the air directly upon enterimg room, and in that general entrance area of courtyard near rooms. Very strong poo / sewerage smell. Didnt smell it in the room.
Shower pressure, pretty low.
No shower cap.
Drizzeling slow release of body wash, which wasnt too pleasant, eco siap lscking vibe.
Was there even shampoo provided? Didnt see it.
Quite nice and peaceful sleep and stsy. Im satisfied with the nights stay fit for purpose but would try not to stay again because of lack of shower water pressure or body wash. Thanks. It was good ! Thank you for having me stay.
This is a standard motel with a central courtyard. Despite having four chandeliers in the reception foyer this is an average motel. Our room was small with limited facilities, a small surface with a microwave with a tray on top holding a jug and basic tea and instant coffee sachets. The bathroom was literally next to the bed with a frosted glass wall and non sealing sliding door. We used the TV to limit embarrassing morning ablutions. Outside our room was a one story tower with two large air conditioning units on top which roared all night, the light from the very well lit and sparkly courtyard and most electrical devices in the room were also very bright, giving us limited sleep. To their credit they upgraded us to a larger room away from the noise when we requested moving in the morning, this lifted my assessment to 3.
Overall comfortable and clean but not luxury by any means.
Not a comfortable stay at all. Waterproof sheets meant a very poor night sleep, too much light from various sources (tv logo, ac, light switch etc etc) in the room, 3 free channels on the tv only, no safe, and a 700x700mm shower in a 3mx4m bathroom shover in the corner for no reason, nowhere to put your toiletries bag… and a physical entry key that takes up an entire pocket…
The hotel was really nice. However, on one bed there were blood stains and on another there was a urine-like stain. Apart from that the location was good, the staff were friendly, and the room was nice.
